This was the text book used in three Physics classes I took at the University of Washington. When I started the book this time, I tried to understand all the sample problems in the text and was even tempted to try solving the problems at the end of the chapters. But I didn't want to be reading this book for the rest of the year and became less concerned with understanding everything. By the time I finished, I was reading through whole sections not really understanding them. But there were some concepts that it felt good to be reminded of. The appendix on using the slide rule made me feel ancient!
