It’s important to note that this book is specifically a book for training Gundogs in the English style. Of course the majority of the book is still relevant to training an American, do it all HPR dog, but certain sections are committed to training dogs in the uniquely British system of working several dogs at once each with a specific task. I.e. my pointer doesn’t retrieve, and my retriever doesn’t flush etc.

If you’re going to hunt a Setter or Spaniel this is an especially valuable read. Also, the pics are gr8 if you’re looking to up your field swag.
