Roth focuses on the image of breath as the Spirit of God that is the source of our life. She draws on the resources of Christian body prayer to teach contemplative, reflective and verbal prayer, and prayer through action and life.
The first two thirds of this book did not present anything new to me. However, the last third was interesting especially about communicating to God in dreams and praying the Lord's prayer with gestures instead of or in addition to words. Also of interest was the types of prayer we are drawn to according to our personality type, and that we need to try and balance out these types.
