I can’t quite remember who recommended the first book in this series (The Bombshell Effect) to me, but I want to thank them, because without them I wouldn’t have been blessed with Karla’s magical ability to make me feel all the feelings while reading a flipping sports romance. The Marriage Effect was everything I was anticipating and so much more. A perfect combo of swoon-y, steamy, real, and emotional. Logan and Paige were just two people who needed the same thing at the same time, so they deci ...more

From all the books in this series, I like The Marriage Effect the best. Mostly due to Logan. He is that perfect hero who always done the right thing, always putting other needs first before his. He is also burn out emotionally taking care his 4 sisters plus managing his career. The story is marriage convenience. Between an athlete and super model.

I do like the characters development and characters chemistry between Logan and his bride, Paige. I am very impress with how Logan and Paige fits each

THIS BOOK SWEPT ME OFF MY FEET! I absolutely loved Logan and Paige’s story! I don’t know what it is about a hard-ass, broody, moody hero (who’s a bit of a jerk), but GAHHHHHHHHH! Logan RUINED me! I’m so obsessed with that man! So obsessed with the dynamic between him and Paige! I really adored this story! Read it in one sitting. And now that it’s done I’m just a puddle of swoony, mushy, feel good emotions. So sooooooooo sooooooo good! An absolute must read!

This is probably my favourite book in this series. I loved Logan & Paige 😍❤ so much fun and super easy to read. I love me a grumpy Hero and I love me a sassy Heroine add in a marriage of convenience and this was just right up my alley. I absolutely loved all the scenes with the Ward sisters also.

When Karla Sorensen releases a sports romance, I know a sure, beautifully written narrative full of belly-aching humour, delightfully sweet moments, heated chemistry and heartfelt emotions is guaranteed. The Marriage Effect doesn’t fail to ensure your mind is enamoured; your heart bursting with so much warmth and enchantment from this faultless marriage of convenience between two seeming opposites.

The Marriage Effect is a quick and cute marriage of convenience romance. Paige and Logan were great and so were his four sisters he was taking care of. The story itself wasn’t unique and nothing much happened beside Paige trying to convince Logan to let go of the control and just give in to his desires. The four kids played pranks on Paige which was sweet. The chemistry between Paige and Logan wasn’t quite there for me and maybe it’s because of the lack of intimacy between them for more than hal ...more

Oh yes I liked this one much much better. I’m a sucker for the whole fake marriage trope, they’re always so much fun. What I liked the most about this one though was their instant attraction. I loved Paige’s boldness and how she teased and taunted Logan and pulled him out of his shell. I loved that this was so much more than just a fake marriage; the family dynamic was incredibly important and the attention to detail in each individual relationship was so well done.

“Paige, you’ll be my real wife. You’ll have a ring on your finger, and not that fake one that got us here. One I’ll buy for you. One I’ll give you in front of a very real judge, in a real courthouse, in front of real witnesses. In the eyes of God and the law, you and I will be husband and wife. You’ll be here, helping me take care of those girls, and none of it will be fake.”

Why is the fake marriage trope so good?
I loved the characters. Their story. The kids y’all 😭.

HOW. How does Karla Sorensen get better with every. single. book?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Seriously, just when I think she can't outdo herself, there's no way she can write a better Hero, there's no way her heroine can steal my heart more than the last one did, there's no way her character and world development can make me fall more in love than the last one did... SHE DOES IT. It's absolutely incredible. The Marriage Effect completely knocked me off my feet, and then swept me up into its arms an ...more

My favorite the series so far!

First of all kudos to this author for delivering NON manwhore heroes. These guys are football stars worth millions but not a single manwhore so far! (I think I'm in love!!) Sports romance author's please take note!

I liked the first, unfortunately the second book didn't work for me but I adored this one. Logan and Paige were both likeable mcs, I loved his relationship with his sisters he truly went all out for them. He did a lot of pushing away but honestly it w

"That was the piece I'd been missing all along. Paige and I were the same. Whatever fire burned inside her, I had it in me too. I'd just never met anyone who made me want to let the flames consume me. Who made me want to see how hot they could burn, what heights they could reach, what we could reach together."

The love I have for Logan and Paige..... This entire book was a delight to read. I already liked the two main characters after meeting them in the previous books but getting to know the

There is just something so completely consuming about the way this author can write a story.

Paige and Logan put a whole new meaning when it comes to passion, devotion, and falling, falling, falling. Logan and Paige both find themselves in positions where if they don’t find themselves a spouse and fast, they will lose everything. Which is where there marriage sort of lands in both of there laps.

Logan is the legal guardian of his 4 sisters. Yes, 4 SISTERS. He’s a professional football player, he’

After reading the first 2 books in the Washington Wolves series, Paige has always been around and I was quite curious about her. She’s back and she’s got her own story with Logan, the quiet, grumpy but quick to find out, the all everything guy. This was more to it than a fake marriage story.

These two while quite different, but understand each other fairly well and need each other. Logan flies under the radar in every aspect, with football, life, but not to Paige. She notices him and is intrigued

tbh, this was a bit disappointing for me. i felt like paige gave so much of herself to logan and the girls, but logan really only gave in to her, and mostly just for the physical. he kept waxing on about how he’s either indifferent to you or all in, but once he decided to finally be all in for paige, all we got was that they had a lot of sex. and at the first sign of trouble as a family, he wrote her right off as less important than his sisters and threw it all on her face; we didn’t see him fig ...more

This book was so much my thing...
I loved the others, and even at the beginning (or the middle) of this one, I had minor issues.
But overall I enjoyed a lot.
Paige was so strong and carefree in the previous books, that she make me ache for a love story between her and the stoic grumpy Logan.
I'd only imagined how she could rush him into a madness of relationship.
But wasn't what happens... Of course she drives him crazy, but her crazyness and smart mouth were exactly what he needs in his bored method

Addicting, emotional and unputdownable.

When a book has the ability to make you laugh tears of joy and place a permanent smile on your face while also tugging at your heartstrings and making you feel all of the feels, you know it’s going to be a top favorite read.

I’ve wanted and waited for Logan’s book and Karla did not disappoint. I desperately needed his story. I was so intrigued by his character and the mystery behind his strong and silent type. Though what I didn’t expect was to

Loved loved loved this story... I can’t wait for everyone to read about Logan and Paige. Gah... So good...
Somewhere along the way I stopped writing reviews. Everything is the same. Another rant and another dnf.

Grumpy silent asshole hero.
In this case he wasn't a whore but in most books he is. Boring again and again 😴

Heroine mooning and drooling over the hero and does all the chasing while the hero shows a lot of of restraining and stubbornness and zero chemistry towords her.
Make it an apic love story doesn't it??

Most of the heroines needs a backbone transplant. They always meant to be strong but mo

I'm not usually a major fan of fake marriages, but Logan and Paige completely did it for me. Both characters charmed, intrigued and just stole my heart with all their winning passes. Loved every minute of this coupling between a runway model and a professional football player. Lots of sass and banter and a bit of angst to keep it fun and entertaining, along with kiddos who throw a fumble here and there and friends and relatives to cheer them on. Put them all on the same team and you've got yours ...more

I was lucky enough to read this one super early. It’s one of those delicious slow burn, chemistry for days kind of reads. You can feel the sexual tension pouring from the page! I absolutely LOVED Paige in previous books and had a soft spot for Logan too. Their love story is packed with genuine LOL moments, serious heat & a definite dose of feels. The author touches on some real life subjects in a really genuine way. Witty dialogue, fantastic supporting characters and just a yummy dash of serious ...more
I was expecting a better story than the first book of the series. Unfortunately, IMO, it is worse.
I didn't read enough communication or interaction to neither feel nor understand their affection for each other. I accept that the heroine came across enjoyable, funny to read. I just wished the author tried to develop the story on some real issues to both to know better protagonists and feel the chemistry between them. Also, it was not plausible for me because after so much lack of communication i
