Three gorgeous shifters. A queen fallen from grace. One formidable Chinese quest.

***SPOILERS – DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU’VE FINISHED BOOK ONE, TWO, & THREE***

It seems as though the whole world is turning against me…

Now that Ero is gone and Roan is barely able to look me in the eye, my heart is broken. I would have jumped ship long ago if it weren’t for Li.

Upon arriving in China, I soon realize that this kingdom may prove to be the most daunting of challenges yet. Suspicion and stares seem to follow us wherever we go, and we are sure to be noticed…and not just by those who wish to help. With my life and honor at stake, I don’t know how I’m going to convince one of the greatest kingdoms on earth to join us, but this is my last chance.

Can I persuade the Emperor to help us or will he see Li as a threat to the throne?

Li.

My violet-eyed leopard.

My soul comforter.

My Warrior.

HER Warrior is a full-length medium/slow burn reverse-harem fantasy novel and the fourth in the Royal Shifters series. Warning: Cliffhanger and adult themes.

This fourth book in the series is about the shifter Li. Whose originally from China and lost their to the Dragon Throne... And the great saga continues to rock on with magic, romance and evil lurking at every corner. Honestly I think this book would make a great movie! Don't read out of order or you'll be lost in all the events going on so far. Trust me.
Li is back in his home territory. And getting to see the Emperor is no small feat. Just when everything seems to be going right for once. Everything is flipped upside down and turned around. Ero is gone. The Emperor is acting strange, not to mention the Commander is about as weird as the Emperor. Will they be able to get another army for their needs. And Annalise has a secret that only Li knows about. But how long will that stay and secret... and will it break Roan's heart in the process?

Her Warrior: A Fantasy Romance Asian Adventure is the fourth book in the Royal Shifters series. The book takes us to China, the home of Li who is the heir to the dragon throne. Sadly, as with Roan's story, there is a missed opportunity to delved deeply into Li's history. How long has Li been gone? What happened to his family line? Li's been with Damien for a long time, what's that story? All questions that will never be answered. By book four, we should have some better idea of where the story is going and yet we spend more time on the silly shenanigans of the main characters, who can't seem to keep their loins under control long enough to save the world, as well as those of the newly introduced side characters. There is a lot going on here that does little to further the actual point of the book. Left with yet another cliffhanger, it'll be interesting to see how the author ties it all together.

This is the forth story in the The Royal Shifters series. You should read these stories in order so you can follow along on who has done what and where they are going or gone so far on their journey to stop evil from ruling the Earth. The characters are fantastic and diverse. I think it is great that each character is from a different country, some are at war with each other, some are indifferent to each other.

Annalise, Roan, Ero and Li are now on their way to China with their huge force of Vikings and Scots to reclaim Annalise's country from her evil husband. At this time she is married to Damien, married by fae to Roan, and married by Scottish law to Roan. She is in love with all of her protectors but has only been somewhat intimate with Roan and Ero. Li is the eldest of the protectors and is also their healer. He is always calm and collected. We learn more about his background in this story. When the Chinese warships show up to find out what they want, the Commander Lao tells them that he will take Annalise with him and will meet them with the Emperor. We find out that there is some evil mojo going on and of course our guys have to take care of the evil to claim their woman back.

In this installation, the three protectors come to the conclusion that they are all in love with Annalise and she is in love with all three of them. If they want to make her happy, they need to learn to get along with each other. There is some friction between Roan and Ero.

We join them after the end of book 3 and continuing the story of Annalise and her shifters. Ero is with the Viking army, so she is just with Roan and Li on a ship travelling to Li's homeland to get help. However Roan is barely able to look at her and her heart is broken - Li is all that keeps her going. When they arrive in China it becomes evident that getting them on their side is going to be the hardest ask so far. With her life and honour at stake, it is unclear how she is going to convince such a great kingdom to help. Will the emperor help or see Li as a threat to the throne? All Li knows for sure at this moment is that Li is her only comfort.

This instalment has plenty of drama and action (some of which might surprise you). I loved the way they had to think on their toes and handle all sorts of difficult situations. Li was a complete sweetheart and I loved the way they were able to connect. Annalise definitely came into her own and was able to contribute and take actions in order to help the situations they found themselves in. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger so I really can't wait to find out what is going to happen next. Well written and very enjoyable, everything was clearly explained so that I could feel the pain and joy experienced by the characters in the story.

Challenging Journey
Wow, this book proves to be the most challenging yet, as we get a deeper look into Li’s character and world … and I have a great dislike for this Emperor, making their lives a continued struggle. Annalise is made to make tough and difficult decisions but she pushes through the crazy storm that is now here life. Some answers appear but leave you with only more questions as the plot gets thicker even when I though it couldn’t possibly have more, the excitement keeps growing and getting bigger, which only goes to say for great writing and an amazing story. Still filled with action and a new evil to defeat. The Royal Shifters series keeps you hooked and turning that page. You never know what’s coming next.
Adult themes in full swing … its been a long wait but worth it… hot and steamy scenes. The character dynamic is back and gets interesting as it goes along. This men of hers, still make me smile even with everything that has happened and still happening.
I am left a bit happier in the end but still a cliff hanger and huge anticipation book 5, I so badly need to know and see how their story pulls together. This series is truly an exciting and an unique read. Loved every bit of it.

An Epic Adventure!
“Her Warrior” smoothly picks up where book 3 “Her Viking” left off and is so well written that as you read the story, your mind is actually visualizing it. Alice Wilde has given us an electrifying adventure with drama, suspense, danger, and romantic twists that flow throughout the story and builds toward a climactic ending, but not yet! Annalise, Ero, Li, and Roan’s journey takes them to China. As the story unfolds you begin to see different layers to the personalities of the main characters. Each one has an emotional battle of self-worth, confusion, rivalry, trust, fear, anger, happiness, passion/lust, and love to fight through in order for them to become united. This book does end in a cliffhanger and the series does need to be read in order to make sense. I can’t wait to read the end.

This book continues where the previous one left off, and thank goodness after what happened at the end of that one! I found myself enjoying this book because I really like Li’s point of view. This book takes place in his world, as they seek an alliance with the Chinese. Because we're so far on this series, I'm afraid to say too much, potentially giving spoilers if you haven't read the previous books. This series does definitely need to be read in order to really understand the full arc, and one book does truly follow from the previous one. The relationships between the heroine and her shifters have gotten more complicated, and we're down one guardian. The heroine continues to mature beyond that rather annoying teenager from the first book, I'm happy to say. If you have enjoyed the previous books in this series, you won't want to miss this one.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Li is a prince, a snow leopard shifter, and was heir to the Dragon Throne of China. When he was a child, and in the playroom, he had grown up with a servant's daughter, Xiaomei. As they grew, they saw less and less until it was a rare occurrence. Until the day Xiaomei was attacked and killed. It was right before Li was collard, forced to shift and then kidnapped. This series just gets better and better with this one, "Her Warrior" bringing them to China in order to find an ally and build an army against Damien. The twists and turns, the surprises, the emotional upheaval they must go through. There is another cliffhanger as we wait to see what happens next, but this is one series I don't mind waiting for. Alice Wilde continues to outdo herself.

This 4th part of the series "The Royal Shifters" is more magical in its narration than previous parts. On the way to China, Li, Roan, Ero and Annalise are caught in a devastating storm and Ero decides to sail back with the Vikings. Annalise is separated from her men and taken by Commander Luo who takes her to the Emperor's palace. To obtain the emperor's help, the shifters will first have to complete an assignment. While Li and Roan are doing this, the Emperor tries to marry Queen Annalise, assuming her men cannot complete the assignment.
Ero returns, damaged and tormented, but Annalise's love can save him. The four of them move on, saving the world from his demise by Damien

This book is an excellent addition to the series and continues seamlessly from the previous book. It is well written and the story and characters are well developed. I love watching the character relationships and dynamics develop and grow through the books. The story was action packed and full of twists and turns. It has suspense, emotion, intrigue, hot chemistry and romance. I’d highly recommend this book but recommend that you read the books in order!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

Her Warrior by Alice Wilde is the fourth book in The Royal Shifters series. This book begins where Her Viking ended. Annalise, Ero, Roan, and Li are leaving Scandinavia to go to China while the evil magician Damien is still chasing at their heels and trying to destroy them. The group is separated for a while and have to deal with treachery time after time. The suspense builds up throughout the story with surprising twists and turns. I fell in love with the characters and couldn’t help hoping that love will help them win. The only thing I didn’t like was I felt the ending of this book was sort of abrupt which is why I give it 4 stars. Her Warrior is about a never-ending quest against evil.

We started in book 1 learning about the characters and the author set the adventure up that was to come for Annalise. In book 2 we focused on her highlander shifter Roan and in book 3 we focused on her viking shifter Ero. In book 4, we now get to learn more about the more elusive of Annalise's protectors Li, her Chinese shifter. I was very excited for this book as Li is the one Annalise has not had an opportunity to spend intimate time with since he is so worried about fulfilling the prophecy. However, what we do know is that all three of her protectors love Annalise and they now have to learn to get along to better protect and love their queen. I can't wait for book 5!

This is book 4 to The Royal Shifters and another fantastic addition to this series but you should read the other 3 books to understand what’s going on and this takes off from where book 3 finished. Annalise and her men go to China to try and get them to join her but this one might be harder because the emperor might think that Li is there to reclaim his throne. I liked reading from Li’s point of view these stories are getting more exciting as they go along, this is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. This is the 4th book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. This read starts where the 3rd book ended. Roan, Li and Annalise are travelling to China but will they receive any help there? Roan and Annalise are both hurting, will they find a way to mend what has happened? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. The story really draws you into their world. An entertaining read.

Drama and action filled this is an amazing continuation of Annalise's journey. The imagery is vivid enough that the book comes to life. The story is well written and is easy to be enamored by. For the best understanding of the story and world the series does have to be read in order. I cannot wait for the next book as the cliffhanger is leaving me hanging.

Another really fantastic book in the series. I love each and every one in the series and this one doesn't disappoint either. If you are looking for a series that keeps you thoroughly engaged, I highly recommend this one. The author does a fantastic job with the main characters, showing their "humanity" side in their shifter lives. And the passion is a plus, as well.

This is book 4 is the Royal Shifters series. You have to read the series in order! This book has Annelise and her shifters off to China, where Li is from. Will they be able to convince the Chinese Empire to join them? Some questions are answered but there are always more questions unearthed. The suspense and intrigue is thick in this story! Tensions are high and the stakes are higher!

Spoilers possible

So glad this picks up right after the last book. After that bombshell I was sooo nervous to get into this book. After even more struggles and twists at least the team seems to be united. Also never say this ending coming...again. Can’t wait to see if they find....not spoiling it.
