She starts out as a little girl who loved horses. They had a ranch and She loved helping on the ranch. She saddled horses , shoved the manure from the barns , she did it all and learned real young. Her mom was into the theater and music. Which the girl loved also. She has on horrible accident in high school and she both her legs were broken in numerous pieces . She had a long recovery but she was a fighter she forced herself to do things. Hard times kept falling on the family. They lost the farm ...more

The story was surprisingly dimensional and dare I say delightful ? It takes a special person to tell a story of what could be personal tragedy and turn it into something that makes a positive impact on the reader. Having been raised in small towns in rural Montana by parents who were educators , the school drama was particularly poignant. I hope to one day meet this amazing woman in person !I truly enjoyed her use of language and was so drawn into the story I read it all in one sitting. Wow what ...more
