Piper Mackenzie first sees him shirtless, standing in front of the military plane she was about to board, with one rather large wrench in his hand. The fact that he has the plane—the one that she’s about to be flying on for hours—in pieces only minutes before she’s set to take off on it doesn’t faze her. At least not until a flippant joke about dying in mid-air leaves his ...more

And this is another reason why LLV will ALWAYS be a one-click author for me! Amazing characters, intriguing plots, and a ton of love - I can never get enough! When I met Jonah in the previous book, I figured him for a brooding but sexy hero. I wanted to know what made him this way and this story delivered in a big way.

Jonah was so amazing. He was like a triple fudge sundae with strawberries and whipped cream and nuts and etc. So many elements made him into the incredible person he was and LLV

What I loved most about Piper and Jonah was that they didn’t play games. Instead, these two decided they wanted to give one another a shot and were all in. I enjoyed how fate kept placing them on the same path. They had a great connection. Jonah was so sweet with her even though being sweet wasn’t what he was known for. Makes it a very special connection. They had great chemistry.

The story had its suspense and surprises. It stayed true to the style that can be attributed to LLV. I find her to b

Ahhh!! It Wasn't Me was pure Lani Lynn Vale goodness. It was filled to the brim with the usual sexiness, quirkiness and all together amazingness that I've come to expect when reading this author's work. I loved Jonah and Pru's story. They were funny, sexy and so delicious together!

I loved this story because of the amazing banter and sexytimes but I especially loved that it had the most awesome meet cute between Jonah and Pru. This story was romantic and swoony and hit me right in the feels. This

I DEVOURED this book. I fucking love reminiscing back to the Sam and Cheyenne days where it all began. I feel like we should re visit the OG couples for a mini series of what they're up to now!. That would be epic.

Finally Piper and Jonah's story!.

these pair melt my heart and remind me so much of her parents story. I love that they throw themselves right into the thick of things and just click. The connection, the chemistry... It was just meant to be for them and you can feel that straight up.

To be honest, I wasn't too excited going into this one. Book 1 just did not work for me at all. BUT book 2 was MILES ahead of the first one.
There were still some timeline issues and there was one thing that didn't match up with book 1. Two separate things happened. If I hadn't recently read the first book then I wouldn't have even noticed, to be honest.

I could go on but I'll just say this... It Wasn't Me was a classic LLV novel. It was a storyline that keeps you interested and turning t

Jonah Crew is an A$$hole. Or is he?

I’ve only recently found Lani Lynn Vale’s writing and I’m totally loving getting into the KPD Motorcycle Patrol world. Quirky and strong girls, stubborn alpha boys and a little bit of insta love thrown in.

It Wasn’t Me was the 2nd book in the KPD Motorcycle Patrol world so we’d already met Jonah going into this as he was a secondary character in Hide Your Crazy. I thought I knew who Jonah was, I thought he was going to be the tortured stubborn hero who wasn’t in

I am not a fan of insta-love.... but somehow this book managed to make me enjoy it. Okay, it’s not just the book but the author too. Lani has a way of making you enjoy everything she creates no matter how crazy it is.

Piper Mackenzie is a nervous flyer and to make matters worse the weather is not sunshine and rainbows. The same can be said about the man next to her on her flight home. Jonah Crew is considered an a**hole to everyone. He has no filter, is not a very patient person so you and is sh

LLV is my comfort read. She’s my #1 go to author when I want to read something fun or something that just makes me smile.

This latest LLV was great. It was all the things I mentioned above but it was just too sweet. Too neat and tidy. There was absolutely no hurtles the couple had to tackle....nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved Piper and Jonah. I just wish it hadn’t been so perfect. I’d have liked something a little messy. Maybe give me a little angst.

It Wasn't Me is the second book in the KDP Motorcycle Patrol series by the hilariously talented Lani Lynn Vale. I don't know how she does it, but Lani's books always make me laugh out loud. I usually finish them in one sitting and can't seem to get enough of her characters or her stories. I haven't had the pleasure of reading about the Mackenzies so I didn't know Piper. But I instantly loved her. I started laughing at their meet cute and didn't stop laughing until I hit The End. It was that good ...more

AWWWWWW….. How I adore ‘accidental wedding’ books! It Wasn’t Me was the PERFECT personification of the theme, specially with Jonah and Piper’s love story made fated by serendipity, which made it more real and heart touching. It was PERFECTION!!!

Piper, the last of the McKenzie girls, was set to return from Germany when Fate put Jonah Crew on her path, multiple times and when she needed him most. I love a ‘fated’ love story and this one hit all the right spots.

As usual, I will start this with, THIS IS A SERIES! To even get any kind of understanding of the characters, to get any of the feels that you will get while reading this, you must read the previous books. Do yourself a favor and start at Boomtown and work your way down. I promise this will be the most amazing binge read ever and when you finally get to Piper and Jonah's story, you will understand when I say this was a bit bittersweet but amazing read. I’ve been waiting for Piper Mackenzie’s story ever since meeting her in her sisters’ books. The Mackenzie family is a stubborn, comical, and a bit out of control group who love fiercely and have each other’s backs at all times, even if they do act without thinking at times, making an already chaotic situation, worse.

Piper is so much like her sisters and her mom that all of them together is either one heck of a good time or a situation that will send their men running for cover. I adore the bond

This second installment of the Kilgore PD is more of the author’s style than the first book in the series. Here we have the light-hearted feeling of her books, with a little bit of suspense, a lot of funny and a lot of sexy times. Since Piper is Phoebe’s sister and Pru’s twin, we get to see a lot of Sam, Cheyenne, Hoax and Bayou. So it’s a great family time again.

Jonas is the typical Lani Lynn Vale character, grumpy until he meets our girl and then he’s floored by attraction. Suddenly he develop

It Wasn’t Me is book two in KPD Motorcycle Patrol series and I am in love with the series! KPD Motorcycle Patrol is a new unit, all but one of the officers in KPDMP have had disciplinary or attitude issues are basically on their last chance before losing their jobs. Jonah is one on his last chance, a self-proclaimed asshole, he says what’s on his mind, doesn’t sugar coat a thing, doesn’t like anyone and most don’t like him. Yet again Lani Lynn Vale has written a fantastic book in her new series KDP Motorcycle Patrol. It Wasn’t Me is Piper and Jonah’s story and if you like/love insta love stories, then this addition from LLV is right up your street.

For me this book was one of LLV’s best stories, I just fell in love with the characters from the first page. Once I started I devoured this book in one sitting. The chemistry and interaction between Piper and Jonah was so addictive. Their chemistry was instant, magnetic a

Lani Lynn Vale is back with another blockbuster hit in the absolutely brilliant KDP Motorcycle Patrol series and oh my gosh y'all! Just when I think it can't get any better, Lani goes and outdoes herself, delivering the absolute perfect romance and follow-up to book one... that will have your heart beating a little bit faster, keep you on your toes from the very first word, and leave you swooning from the first page to the very last one.

Once again, this author has managed to produce a book that is unlike anything else I've read! She managed to include a insta-love story (which I adore!) as well as motorcycles, police officers, a HEA, and a mystery spanning generations! This book was fun, plus we got updates on some of our favorite characters from previous books, and there were surprises around every corner! I just can't ask for more in a book!

Pretty much all of the Lani Lynn Vale books I've read, I loved every single one of them. And it was exactly that with It Wasn't Me, I am totally on board with this book and series. I really hope that it'll just go on forever.

I like to describe Jonah as the grumpiest bear there ever was! I found it absolutely hilarious because it made for such great banter between Piper and Jonah. I loved the aspect of the random encounters that they had, it was a bit of an insta-love. But it didn't bother me at

I always get super excited when a LLV book lands on my kindle and she NEVER disappoints me. I love how she interweaves her new series worlds in with previous ones so we get to see some of your favourite old faces appear whilst falling in love with new ones. I am totally addicted to her writing.

As per usual, Lani Lynn Vale continues to blow me away with her storylines! There is so much that I love from all her books, and this one is added to the list! We finally get the story of the last Mackenzie daughter, Piper. Finally finishing her time with the army, she is headed home early after her father got into an accident. Not the best with flying to begin with, she ends up on a plane without her medication, and Jonah ends up there with his corny jokes, that Piper takes the wrong way due to ...more

Piper and Jonah were two people that literally crashed into each other's lives. Given that they both lived in the same town and hadn't met before makes this story that much better. They're both traveling home from Germany and let's just say their first introduction completely made me fall in love with Jonah Crew!

These two had me smiling at how they kept "running" into each other which of course led to the moment in Vegas that alters the cours

Piper and Jonah #sigh... From this family you will know they are just plain and simple no nonsense type of people. And throw in Jonah who is a laid back type of guy, definitely a no nonsense sweet, #sigh type of romance

Sometimes fate play an important role when finding the one person that you are supposed to be with. In It Wasn’t Me, Piper and Jonah have four random meet ups that eventually set them on a path filled with, well I won’t spoil it at all for y’all but I will say that I really loved this book. Oh, how the big men fall.

Jonah fell hard and fast and I loved every little freaking second of this book.

This book had a great plot. I didn’t find one loop-hole even as I was trying to piece all the little bits together to figure out what was going on.

Jonah is probably one of my favorite LLV men of all time, which is saying something because she has a ton of hot sexy alpha men to choose from. But I just loved how he spoke his mind. No pulling any punches. It was outright hilarious. G

It Wasn't Me might be the second title in the KPD Motorcycle Patrol series, but it features characters from several of Lani Lynn Vale's previous works. I know I say it with every release she has, but Lani Lynn Vale has proven, yet again, why she is an automatic one-click author for me. She continues to crank out one great story after another.
