These books are quick and steamy no doubt about that, this one was maybe a little too quick for me.
Jenna has been in love with her brothers best friend and now one if his business partners since she was twelve years old he has been the star in all of her fantasies. But now that she is all grown up and he is there to build her a greenhouse can she show him how much she wants him not just for now but forever. She has waited to have him but how will her brother react to news and who will she choose her brother or the reason her heart beats?
Porter is in love with the one girl that he can never have his best friends little sister, she is the forbidden desire that he has tried to ignore for years but once she kisses him how is he expected to walk away from the only woman he has ever wanted or loved. But when it comes to a choice between him and her brother will he lose her?
Quick read but it felt a little rushed still all the hallmarks of both authors and still a fun and safe read.

This is another story that I’m on the fence about. While I enjoyed most of the story what bothered me the most was that Porter was in love with her for so long but wasn’t a virgin himself. I don’t like it when people say they love someone so much but still sleep with other people. It’s not mentioned specifically that he was with others but he never says he is a virgin either. It does mention that he doesn’t sleep around and would rather have none if he couldn’t have Jenna but he still had some before while she waited for him. That is a big pet peeve of mine.

Completely safe. No om/ow drama but her brother does cause some minor issues. H definitely doesn’t come off as a virgin, h is a virgin. No abuse!

Jenna and Porter have had a thing for each other for years but have never acted on it. Porter and her brother Eli own a business together and Jenna has always been off limits, but when Eli asks Porter for a favor he can’t refuse. All Jenna wants is for Porter to fall for her. The only thing standing in the way is Porter’s friendship with Eli.
Cute and sweet read. The epilogue with their baby girl was super adorable!

A sweet love story of a couple who has loved each other from afar and waited for one another. The H is the h's brother's best friend, their attraction is sort of forbidden/against the bro-code, but who can stop the power of true love?

Such a steamy hot short novella!
A delightful entertainment for a lazy afternoon.
Lovely characters and so much pent-up craving, lust and love! Yum!

I enjoyed this novella. Porter has been trying to resist his feelings for his best friend’s little sister, but when Jenna kisses him? All bets are off. They are definitely HOT together. Love how well he knows her too. But will his bestie Eli ever give his approval? No worries, we get Avery happy ever after. I highly recommend this book.

This new series they have written has been superb and I can't get enough of it.

Jenna Blake needs a greenhouse built to expand her business, and her brother sends his best friend, Porter Smith, to do the job. Jenna has harbored a secret crush on Porter since she was a young girl and hates that Porter just thinks of her as his best friend's little sister. Porter reluctantly agrees to build Jenna's greenhouse knowing it will be torture around the woman who holds his heart but is off limits. Jenna sets out to seduce Porter and is overjoyed to learn that Porter returns her feelings, but Porter is worried about how Eli will react if he pursues a relationship with Jenna. The chemistry between Jenna and Porter is like a blazing inferno. How does Eli react when he catches Porter and Jenna together? This is a sweet yet very steamy and se@y romp about a girl, Jenna, and her girlhood crush who was forbidden to her because,Porter , was her brother's best friend. There was something that she didn't know about Porter...and that was that he had loved her since she was 12 years old! Porter and her brother are in business together now that they've grown up and he is about to build Jenna a greenhouse for her. She's even more enticing to him and her crush has become so much more - if only Porter knew. Enjoy as these two get to know each other even more and become so very much closer,so much so that her brother might very well beat him up.This is a great love story with humour that had me smiling and ready to switch on the fan to try to keep cool as the tension between them is HOT! An engaging read that kept me turning page after page and I did so like these 'people' and their realistic world. Terrific writing by C.M. Scr*wed tight is book three in the Hammers and Veils series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
The chemistry between Porter and Jenna was clear to see, as was their mutual attraction towards one another. I just wish this book were a little longer as I wanted more scenes of Porter and Jenna officially together.
I liked Eli in his story (book 1). I liked how protective he was of his baby sister but he annoyed me a little in this story. I understood why he was the way he was. But he was a massive hypocrite. He had hooked up and married Jenna’s best friend yet he didn’t like the fact his best friend loved his sister. That being said, I liked that he did eventually come around to the idea.
I really liked the ending and epilogue to this story. I liked seeing Jenna and Porter happy together.

This story was short and sweet and such a turn on, warning, don’t do what I did and read it and work, people will look at you funny when you laugh at the silly jokes. Truly though, this is such a good read, it’s uplifting and fun, it will bring such a light to your heart. Everyone loves a good book!

This is another short, feel good story from two talented authors that will brighten up your day and have you believing in taking a risk.

This is the third book in the Hammers and Veils series and once again it is a great book that keeps you engaged The entire series is set around the lives of four men who own a construction company and how they find love
In this book we get the story of Jenna and Porter she is the sister of one of the partners and has had a major crush on Porter her brother Eli's best friend for as long as she can remember Now he is about to build new greenhouses for her business and she sees it as her chance Porter as always what she finds is that her crush hasn't been totally one sided Porter is just as interested but he nee to contend with the bro code. Will they get a future together will Eli accept them together You need to read to see. A nice quick story that doesn't feel rushed in any way i thoroughly enjoyed it

This book focuses on Porter and Jenna, Eli’s little sister.
I really hoped I would love this book, I love a good best friend’s sister plot, but unfortunately, this book just fell short for me.
I would have to say all the books in this series so far have been steamy, but this book took it to another level entirely. Every other sentence was sex, sex, and more sex and super graphic too which usually doesn’t bother me but that was basically the whole premise for this book.
Jenna and Porter never expressed or had a romantic relationship so it goes from I always wanted you to marry me practically from one chapter to the next.
It was just too much too fast which made it hard to fully enjoy.
But the epilogue 2 did improve the story for me and it added a more loving tone to the story.

A Great Read!!
I liked reading Scr*wed Tight (Hammers and Veils Book 3). All about Porter Smith the owner of ?Nailed It Construction with four of his BFF’s and Jenna Blake a twenty-two year old gardener and my BFF’s little sister. The author wrote about a man who has loved a girl since she was twelve, but can not reconcile his feelings to overcome his bff is her brother! Read about Jenna & Porter and see if they can convey thru actions they both have feelings for the other and then be able to convince their extended family it’s the real deal for life!! This is the third book in this series and each one is about construction owners who get the love bug while doing a small job! I’ve enjoyed reading the first three books and can’t wait to read book 4!!

Another amazing addition to this series. Jenna and Porter have had a thing for each other for years but have never acted on it. Porter and her brother Eli own a business together and Jenna has always been off limits, but when Eli asks Porter for a favor he can’t refuse. All Jenna wants is for Porter to see her for the woman she is now and the girl she used to be. The only thing standing in the way is Porter’s friendship with Eli, they both know he’s not going to be happy about any kind of union between them. Sweet and full of love. Another charming little romance in this cute series that’s so easy to ready and enjoy.
Porter might be gruff and rough, but he becomes primal and passionate when he’s around his partner’s little sister. One project to build a greenhouse turns into a frenzy of outpouring feelings, tempting kisses and an explosive brother who disapproves.
It was fun to watch all the men who work together also band together to protect their own, until they come face to face with the undeniable love that exists between Jenna and Porter. My favourite part, besides all the romantic things they say to each other, is the final epilogue where they share so much love. Very pretty story.

Jenna set up her brother Eli with her best friend Karis in the last book. Now it's time for her to have her HEA. She's been in love with Porter forever, so much so that she's saved herself for him, but she's off limits. Porter and Eli are best friends and business partners. She takes an opportunity and makes a move on him. Eli is ready to beat him to a bloody pulp for breaking the bro-code. They convince everyone that they're serious about each other, and totally in love. I enjoyed this book, and it was a quick read.

Short but very hot
I enjoyed this very short story of two people, one of whom, Porter, is the best friend of the woman's brother whom he appreciates enormously, Jenna, but this position makes him refuse for years to try anything with her. However, when asked to go help her for her cottage, their common attraction explodes, but it's quickly limited by the pressure that Porter's brother might put on.
The characters are good, the story is well written and the whole story is very hot, with some clichés about the weapons Jenna deploys to seduce Porter, but it brings a cute note to all.
