Another mystery in Spicetown!

When I'm on the mood for a cozy visit to a small town with characters I like and a mystery that's full of clues, the Spicetown series is the perfect fit!

I love reading about adventures of the crime solving duo of Mayor Cora Mae Bingham and Chief Conrad Harris. The supporting characters - Amanda, Brian, Saucy, Wink, Rodney and the others are lovable and just a little quirky. If you've lived in a small town, you'll recognize them all.

When a notorious "louse" of a man i

2nd book in the Spice Town series. The setting is a small town in Ohio. The founder last name was Spicer so the town was named after him. The streets are named after spices ..cute little mystery series. The Mayor and Sheriff are the main characters but there is mention of quite a few others that have back stories as well. If you like cozy mysteries this is a cute one. On to book 3!

I’ve enjoyed this cozy mystery set is the small town of Spicetown. The chief of police and the mayor do work quite well together to methodically work through the details and solve the case.

Sheri Richey has done a great job of building up the characters and their relationships. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for this small town.

Nicole KandeLind provided a great performance. She really brought the story to life.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have volu

I love this clever, witty and engaging book which takes you on an adventurous tour through small town America with many interesting and lovable characters. On the whole, the Spice town mystery series is different from other cozies I have read in that the usual formula of one more body found is not the norm. I' m looking forward to the next title.

Great read

I am beginning to think , "Well, that was different", will be the norm for all the books in this series! The characters are very interesting and the mystery is always full of twists and the unexpected.

Good one

Really enjoy this series. Only thing I disliked is when no one proofreads and names are mixed! Looking forward to the next one!

While I liked this story overall, the ending is still rather muddled for my taste.
I enjoyed this story and found it as well written as the first two. Characters were believable, and so were town politics. There were a lot of interesting things going on in the town as well as the crime.

I had a hard time following the confusing stories the various suspects were giving and it seems the police chief made more good guesses than actually having solid evidence. He has satisfied himself that there was a
