This is an immediate sequel to The Immortals (The Immortal Brotherhood Book 1) and should not be read before it.
The  story starts immediately where the previous book left off, and unlike the first book, the beginning is slightly slower, as the characters are re-grouping, re-organising and planning future actions. The writing is so beautifully consistent, it feels like the books were published at the same time and not over a year apart. The authors paid a lot of attention to achieving the same at

Lady Arabella, the only person left who could safely protect the ways between realms, had crossed over and disappeared. Now Noah, Thomas, Raina, Cinonso and Trixie were going to venture into Faerieland to bring her back. The Lady was after all the head of the Immortal Brotherhood to which they all belonged, except for Raina's evil sister Trixie, who they had to take with them to keep an eye on if nothing else. Once they enter Faerieland they encounter many creatures and have to do battle with mo ...more

A fantastic addition to the series! This one kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the new magic and the dangers and excitement of the Faeries. I enjoyed learning more about the characters as well. By far Thomas fascinates me the most his story is so intriguing so it was great to learn more about him.
