It was so good to be back under water with Corin Hayes...
In this book Corin joins the navy and finds himself ordered towards the danger instead of finding it on his own. He has to work with others and does well as a teamplayer. Again his stubborness and his big mouth get him into trouble but also made me laugh several times!
Somehow the under water setting give the books an eerie and claustrophobic feel that doesn't get old!
Another excellent book in the series that I highly recommend, cannot wa

I should start by saying that if you haven't read any of the first 3 books, you probably should(and not just because they're great).

Aaah - another few days spent with the incorrigible Corin Hayes, feels like coming home. Would love to buy the grumpy, sardonic bloke a beer & a whiskey :)

Thank you Mr Matthews for fuelling my claustrophobia and making me choke several times during the Fish-suit descriptions. I've read the other books - I should be used to it now hahaha

Had to 5-star it for the laugh out loud moments, the fast moving plot, the suspense and of course the wink to The Italian Job. Another cracker from G.R. Matt

Geoff Matthews began reading in the cot. His mother, at her wits end with the constant noise and unceasing activity, would plop him down on the soft mattress with an encyclopaedia full of pictures then quietly slip from the room. His father, ever the pragmatist, declared, that they should, “throw the noisy bugger out of the window.” Happily this event never came to pass (or if it did Geoff bounced ...more
