I picked up several different types of Harlequin books to get a good feel for the story flow for category romances.

While contemporary stories are not my usual go-to, I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. The beginning character set-up didn't flow really well for me, but it all meshed together harmoniously and formed a well rounded story.

This was okay. It was good, but a some points it felt like it was dragging on. I became curious about the stores of Passionata. I wanted to know about her adventures and how she started to become a well known pirate during her time. Towards the end it felt very rushed, but it did the ending that I was expecting.
