No good deed goes unpunished.

I learned that lesson the hard way when I agreed to help my friend Justin with a favor.

My platonic friend Justin.

A favor that helped him with his reputation but turned mine into the trending topic at my school. In a matter of days I go from quiet, nobody to school slut.

The problem with that? I’m still a virgin.

The whispers, the stares and the constant gossip could bring me down but I’m tired of hiding in the dark, covering up my anxiety and being alone. I decide to take on the bullies and find a few surprising allies along the way; the Allendale Four.

Oliver, Anderson, Jackson and Hayden make up this tight-knit circle of friends and they make it their mission to protect my reputation, my heart and my soul.

For the first time I’m not alone and I’m not afraid, but will the closed-minded town of Allendale accept our relationship?

In this COMPLETE series, follow Heaven and the Allendale Four as they navigate trials of high school, college and beyond, balancing love, life, careers and everything that comes with the complications of unique relationships.

Please note a Piece of Heaven is a contemporary young adult, Why Choose novel that deals first love, the hardships of life with anxiety and depression; including the topics of bullying, social issues and self-harm.

The Allendale Four (Complete Series Books 1-4): High School Bully Romance Kindle Edition
by Angel Lawson  (Author)
I borrowed this box set from the Kindle Unlimited program and am voluntarily leaving a fair and honest review.

Heaven and her best friend, Justin, make a pact. One that draws gossip and rumor tight around the already troubled teenager. She decides to not only live with the rumors, she wallows in the misconception. If this sounds familiar, it is the basic story of the Emma Stone 2010 teen comedy Easy A. In fact, the first book hums along that story-line, including other boys asking her to be, basically, their beards. It sidetracks when the Allendale Four - Oliver, Anderson, Jackson and Hayden a tight-knit circle of friends who pull Heaven into their group to protect her from the bullies.

The first book in the box set is pretty good, if by the numbers.

What really makes this series and this box set shine is the second through fourth books. These books cover important points in any person's life – college, young adulthood and building a family.

The college years are even more troubled for Heaven and her boys need to circle the wagons several times to save her, but we see how this relationship builds. We also see the repercussions of this on anyone's psyche at that age.

The young adulthood is when they begin to fill out their lives, apart and together. We see how their unique dynamic appears on the outside and how much they are willing to sacrifice to be together.

The final book is about them forming a family and all the decisions and compromises that need to be made.

Heaven and her men's journey is the most amazing piece, There is solid character development and struggle without having to add anything otherworldly. Usually, I need aliens, an apocalypse, a Dystopia or something to keep my attention, but the real world that is encapsulated in these pages held me in their grip. Hayden's struggle with his injuries was as fascinating as any of the aliens or supes that I read about.

There are a few technical issues but that isn't vital.

Also there are a number of possible triggers. Suicide, self harm and near rape are all there.

A solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Complete box set contains all four novels in the Allendale Four series!

Heaven faces advances from her classmates after they see pictures on social media alleging her sexual antics at a party at a neighboring town in which she grew up and still returned to see her old friend Justin who asked her to fake giving her virginity to him to up his social game. It works well for Justin. However, Heaven is being approached by numerous young men seeking a hook up or like Justin a fake hook up. Misunderstandings and assumptions made from seeing more social media posts of pictures of Heaven with other male students prompts the Allendale Four (Hayden, Oliver, Jackson, and Andersson) to come to her rescue. With the Allendale Four and a few other friends she's made along the way Heaven is able to face a stalker, an attempted rape, a few blackmailers, a suicide attempt, high school, college, a new job, a dog, and a HEA with four hot men! Each book focuses on a different stage in Heavens life: high school, college, adapting to a new career/relationship, and the HEA. Heaven deals with anxiety and depression while facing all of these events. The Allendale Four is an enjoyable story by Angel Lawson available in KU. It does contain cursing, violence, and sex.

So Amazing ❤️

For me, words cannot describe just how amazing this series is. Heaven is a MC who suffers from anxiety and depression. As someone who has experienced the same since a young age, I found her struggles with mental health and its lifelong management to be both realistic, accurate, and heartfelt. Their journey into A5 starts in high school with each book showing a different phase in their lives. You become so emotionally invested in the characters and plot that some points with tear you apart just to put you back together again. It’s wonderful to read how everyone grows and progresses together and individually. This is a contemporary RH that no fan of the genre should miss. Well done Ms. Lawson ❤️

At first I was skeptical since the main character was so naive of her surroundings. After reading book 1 and 2 though, I started to enjoy the storyline and character development. I appreciated the full series taking the A5 into adulthood to truly show how a relationship this special had to grow, even when painful, to end the way it did for the five. There were a lot of social issues throughout and I thought handled well even though Justin's character just seemed to fade away. I know that Heaven was hurt by her longtime friend but it would have seemed expected that she would have at least known what eventually happened to him since he faced some challenges as well after the reveal of the initial prank.

What a journey

I really enjoyed these books. The first on was pretty fast paced...which I enjoyed because it kept me entertained..there was lots of drama and and angst. The second and third books hot you hard full of heartbreak and so much angst and betrayal that I had to grab the tissues. The final book was EVERYTHING...omg I had a bit of a meltdown. Everything gets smoothed out. Questions get answered. Problems get worked out. And there is a ton of growth from all characters. And the ending mad me squeal like a small child...overall it was a 5 star read for sure. Just so you know I am recommending this series.

This was my first time reading Angel Lawson and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm really into reverse harem high school bully romance right now for whatever reason.
This series was very good, except that I spent the first few chapters of the third book thoroughly confused. There was a time jump that came out of nowhere so I had to return to the second book and see if I had missed something. It was very weird.
Also, the author should invest in a proofreader because there were major and minor mistakes that should have been caught.
Overall, though, I will be reading this author again very soon.

This series really spoke to me and my own mental health issues. I love that Angel Lawson really captures the realness of the struggle. Most people who don't suffer or know someone who suffers. Ant usually understand what it feels like, but she really captures it. Heaven goes through so much in this series and she's really strong despite all that happens. I was rooting for her the whole time. I was happy when she and the guys became a family and then cried so hard when they weren't but understand that without leaving each other they wouldn't have become the people they were meant to be and wouldn't have been stronger once they came back together. Brilliant series.

Wow

This series was the first series I have read by this author. I can honestly say I am now a fan. These books were so hard to put down each time I had to. They kept me wanting to know what would happen next and just wanting the story to keep going so I could know more. The characters relationship was something many are not open minded about or understand. The struggles they had to over come not just to grow but to remain together was amazingly written. I definitely recommend this series and you won't be disappointed.

Honestly one of new fave book series. It was raw and real. With the depression talk and anxiety. The boys are assholes like other rh. They are sweet and deal with their own problems. They each bring something different to the table. Help heaven feel loved. They last book brings them all together and gives them a HEA. I loved reading about them through high school, college and then finding their careers.

Only like is that in the last book one of the characters name is rj and then some paged called him aj. Definitely some word error but still never took away from the book.

great trilogy

This was a great trilogy and I am not sure why I put it off so long. This book is great at showing what people with depression and anxiety go through, and no it’s not pretty. I loved how realistic this books take was on relationships, and it’s not all made of roses. The one thing that irritated me though was the change in name of a small secondary character. Authors write the names down, keep track, because I promise, the reader will notice. Over all loved the story, and couldn’t put it down.

Good series

Soooo..... I finished this set in just two days. I have some mixed feelings on it but it was still a good enough series to get a 4 star rating out of me. My least favorite book was the second one. It almost made me not want to finish the series. :( Heaven was a bit too weak in that book and it almost annoyed me to the point of a DNF. But the series redeemed itself and I ended up liking it as a whole.

A5

Well I’m now in recovery, these books were addicting and I wish there were more but all good/great things eventually end. But damn the Journey was fantastic! Awesome storyline that dealt with very real issues and the characters were so strong and realistic, making you love them or hate them but defiantly made you feel something about them. A definite recommend series and so worth the journey 🖤

wow, just wow.

Wow, in the best way possible. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I originally rented the book on KU. Over the past year I’ve been addicted to reverse harems, from all kinds of genres and tropes. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this series and author. It was well written, the characters well developed, and any sensitive topics handled with care and attention befitting the seriousness of the event.

This book is a hard read because the characters are going through common problems. Book one they immediately work as her guardian angels, but all of a sudden in book 3 they are separated for 3/4 of the book because between book 2-3 they all grew apart and went on with their lives. By book 4 they realize they can’t live without each other and create a beautiful family.
It was well written, and it touched me

So lovely

I wasnt sure what to expect with this one but it was great.
The boys you love. Each one has his faults and strengths. Heaven is a girl who has so many troubles.
The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is it needed a little more editing, spelling and such, but it didnt sway me much. I still loved it.
Give this one a go and fall in love with the Allendale Four. I did!

Good read!!

I really enjoyed this box set although the last book had quite a few editing problems RJ the actor was suddenly called AJ.I noticed a few other mistakes but that stood out.
There were some heart breaking moments but ultimately it was a love story that was unconventional but incredibly sweet.

Great Series

One of my favorite RH series. I love the way the relationship grows and changes as the 5 get older and the very real issues that they deal with. The first 2 books were better than the last 2 in my opinion, which lowered my rating of the complete set, but in all a great read. I'll be checking out more by the author for sure.

Heaven and her harem boys that included Oliver, Anderson, Jackson and Hayden, will take you on high school adventure full of bullying, emotional twists and turns. Then when you think you get your HEA, the author surprises you with another turn of events! I have read several of this author's series back to back the last month and have enjoyed all of them so far.

Not your typical reverse heram

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. Not a typical reverse began of multiple guys on one girl. Focused more on individual relationships between the girl ad each guy and the guys as friends. I would recommend this series to adults due to the hot scenes but it is not hard core. I really enjoyed this serries.

Amazing!!

This is one of the best series I have read in awhile. Heartbreak, angst, drama, mental illness just to show a few of the things that make this book amazing. Heaven struggles horribly but in the end she prevails with her guys.

DNF'd at 29% (Finished first book and stopped).

First book was okay... but it didn't interest me to continue the series.

I'll pass on future books by this author.

I liked the books but because of their relatively slow tempo I skip read quite a lot. The heroine annoyed me a bit as she kept making the same mistakes.
