Daisy is going on holiday! In an actual plane to actual Spain! It's so exciting! She's never seen a palm tree before, or eaten octopus, or played zombie mermaids, or made so many new friends! TROUBLE is, five of them are small and cute and furry kittens!!!! And guess who wants to be their new English Mum?!?
Kes Gray is a bestselling, multi award-winning author of more than 70 books for children. He eats Ideaflakes for breakfast, spreads silliness on his toast and lives in a place called Different. Kes was the second bestselling picture book author in 2018.
The trouble with reading Daisy books when you are nearly sixty and in company is you feel really embarrassed when they make you laugh out loud and everyone asks what you're reading and because you're on your Kindle you ought to be able to get away with saying, "Oh, just Kafka's Metamorphosis," but you're giggling too much to make it sound sincere.
Kes Gray has got to be one of my favourite authors and Daisy one of my all-time favourite story book characters.
It wasn't as good as the Giants book. It did make me laugh abit when she said the rolling floor was like a carpet that rolls because I've been on one too.
It was great and loads of fun to read I enjoyed it at school + at home however I didn’t think I would like it because I have never read any daisy books before if you have any ideas of witch one should read next please tell me by writing a review
This book is about a girl called Daisy that she went to trip with her friends and her family. While the trip, she saw some kittens that were adorable so she decided to feed them with some hotel tunas. But her mum and the hotle manager found it out, so she was punished by them and they don’t let the kittens back the hotel again. At night, she went out and found the kittens with her friend so they still care about the kittens. I think this book is funny and good, it is easy to let children read this book so I recommend to them!
Daisy is having trouble again. She's going on holiday to Spain and she's already made loads of friends-including furry ones. She takes care of them and feed them and her Mum thinks it's great. Until Daisy got in trouble that is. I enjoyed this book thoroughly and I loved that it has kittens in it.
Reread for nostalgia. No rating because obviously to me currently the plot line and characters is not very good, however that is because I am not at all the target audience for this kind of book and it would be different to the rating i would have given it when I first read it when I was younger.
This is about Daisy was going to a trip that she saw some kittens. She stoles food in the buffet to feed the kittens but someone found out and she was trouble with it...
My favourite of the series so far but still didn't live up to my expectations of how much I remember liking this series when I was younger. As this is the last of this series that I own, and I'm not enjoying it enough to make an effort to get hold of the next books, I'm going to end this reread here. Would still recommend this series to younger children, but I think it's safe to say I've grown out of it.
