Shay Gable hated my guts, and I hated hers, too.

We went out of our way to avoid one another at all times. When she came my direction, I went the other. When we locked eyes, she’d turn and walk away.

All of that changed the day I was presented with a challenge. It started out as a stupid bet: make Shay fall in love with me before I fell in love with her first.

That was an

In fairytales, the beauty fell in love with the beast. In reality, the beast destroyed beauty.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million times, no one writes like Brittainy C. Cherry. No one. Her writing is stunning and always blows me away. This woman is my favorite author for a reason. Her books always speak to me. They always have that perfect combination of romance, feels, and that extra special quality that I just can’t name. Landon & Shay is a stunning story and I loved it

'LANDON & SHAY' is Part One in Brittainy C. Cherry's full length romance duet. We've already been introduced to these two previously in Eleanor & Grey

It all started with a bet..But ended in truths.

These two characters despise each other!! It's been this way since middle school.

I started this not knowing if I liked it or not, and was already flitting towards a 4 star rating, and I think that's only because I didn't really connect with Landon at that stage. But somewhere along the

STUNNING!!! Brittainy C Cherry has once again blown my mind with another one of her beautifully written stories. I am not the least bit surprised that I fell so incredibly hard for ”LANDON & SHAY” This ”enemies-to-lovers” romance was so emotionally charged and the characters left a huge

Just when I think that Brittainy C Cherry couldn’t make me love her storytelling anymore, she goes and do this. I’ve come to the realization that getting to read her books is not only a journey, but it’s an experience. Her words feel like a healing balm to the fractured heart and you feel the everything. The pain, the sadness, the joy, and the most important thing of all: the love.

i was UGLY CRYING the whole time i was reading this. no joke. and im still crying right now as im writing this.

the last time i ugly cried was probably when i first saw the Red Wedding but even then, i don't think ive cried as much as i did while reading this.

this book was just... breathtakingly B E A U T I F U L.

gotta be honest, when i read the blurb, i thought this was gonna be your typical ya/na romance full of cliches and petty drama but NO, oh noo. i was so wrong. i mean, the blurb

this was real funny until it started to get heavy and depressing. overall it was an absolute tear jearker. the topic of depression threw me off a little bit. i've been reading too much of it in books recently that i wanted to take a break. but some of the things the book said about this subject really hit close to home.

what i also liked about this book was the fact that it was the hero who suffered from depression. i

Landon, oh Landon! Never in a million years would I have thought that THIS is how his story was going to be. I wasn't sure what to think of him at first, but as the story progressed and I got to know him a little better, all I wanted to do was hug him real tight and never let go. (And then punch all these people who said shitty stuff to him. You'll see what I mean when you read the book lol) My heart was aching for him over

Can Brittainy C. Cherry EVER write a book you won’t fall hopelessly in love with? The answer to that is a big obvious NO.

This book is perfect.I love an en enemies to lovers romance and this was done so well. Brittainy C. Cherry storytelling skills is becoming legendary.Shay and Landon stole my heart. The emotions in this book was on a whole new level. This is not your typical romance where it’s all hearts and flowers with just the right amount of “drama”, no..this one makes you cry your heart

Brittainy C. Cherry writes books about hard topics with poise and grace. I have noticed this in each and every book she has written and it's one of the main reasons I always come back for more. She's one of the most talented authors and continuously brings her readers raw and emotional stories that everyday people can relate to in some way.

LANDON & SHAY was supposed to be a standalone, but the author surprised us by telling we would have a part 1 and 2. Part 1 is about them when they were 17/18 years old, and part 2 will be with them a little older. This characters came from the book ELEANOR & GREY and if you read this one, you know how funny they were together because of their situation of hate-to-lovers. So when Brittainy said she would write about them I expected a book more light and more fun,

Landon and Shay are in high school, but the characters in this book could be walking any halls, adult or teen. At times it was hard to remember that I was reading about ones so young.

I became completely invested in the world of these amazingly developed emotionally raw characters. Not just Landon and Shay but the world around them and the absolutely amazingly development of those in this world.

I like how we saw the other person through both, Landon and Shays points of view. It showed just how

This was a fantastic read, I loved it so much. This is one of these reads you are going to think for days.It was beautiful and Brittainy's words are poetic and flawless. Landon and Shay were complete opposites.

They make a bet as to who would fall in love with each other first and how the story developed my heart was aching and I was sad , happy and emotional with these two!

Their story is unique and intense.

This review will be short, sweet, and simple because you know what, after reading all TWELVE of Brittainy Cherry's books and literally loving ALL TWELVE OF THEM there are just so many five star reviews that ya girl can write. So here we go...

Landon & Shay was beautifully written.
Landon & Shay was emotionally executed so well.
Landon & Shay are both such complex characters with so much depth and growth.
Landon & Shay left me feeling so many things that I never feel while reading
Landon and Shay's story ruined me. It's been forever since I last cried my eyes out for a broken romance from fictional characters and honestly? I miss that feeling. So thank you, Brittainy, for bringing my old self back and making me feel once again.

"Everyone had cracks and cuts that bled into their soul each night. Some people were simply better at hiding them."

Another five star worthy book by Brittainy C. Cherry. I just absolutely love this author's writing. I am amazed by her ability to bring a story and characters to life. The main characters Landon and Shay start of as enemies, but during a party find themselves making a bet of who can make the other fall in love with them first. I loved

Oh fudge me!!! Every time I tell myself that Brittainy C. Cherry will not get me-YET every time SHE.GETS.ME!!!! Landon & Shay had a love/hate relationship that they both agreed on, well sort of.

In Landon's eyes Shay has the perfect life, is loved by everyone and it's all flowers and rainbows because he's never seen her display any type of imperfection. She's the opposite of him and because of that he hates her. But little did he know that Shay's life is anything hearts and rainbows. I

Thank you Brittainy for this incredible story! This book deserves more than a 5 rating! It was a page turner and deals with realistic issues/topics. We were introduced to Landon and Shay a little bit in Eleanor and Grey but this is their intense love story. Shay is the “perfect” happy girl in everyone else’s eyes, who loves theater and hates Landon. Landon is the rich, popular senior, who is struggling with feeling loved because he doesn’t feel it from anyone around it. Landon and Shay are ...more

Wow!!! As much as I adored Eleanor and Grey, Landon and Shay have stolen my heart. They have such a touching story, it intertwines in surprising ways! The words were beautiful but hard with this story. I’ve had some similar struggles as Landon. This book has a remarkable way of describing some issues that are hard to touch on. I cannot wait for the second half of this duet.
Hours later and I'm still feeling emotional thinking about Landon & Shay's story. I don't have to adequate words to describe what I was feeling reading it, but I'm doing my best to write a review.
First of all: You don't need to read Eleanor & Grey to read Landon & Shay. I didn't and I was totally fine.

Brittainy writes soulful stories that jump from the pages straight to the hearts. Her soft nature mirrors in her stories. They're fragrant with love, tumultuous with roiling angst, soaked wet tears of the readers. She manages to draw out ALL the feelings possible just with strokes of her pen.

I'm going to catch some flak for this review, but let me say ahead of time: I get it, guys! I love Brittainy C. Cherry, too! She's steadily become one of my favorite authors thanks to the emotion she infuses into every story. The first part of Landon & Shay was no exception.

This book includes characters first seen in Eleanor & Grey, and upon starting it, it seemed like we were going to get a bit of the same formula: half the book set in their teens and half of them reconnecting as adults. This really suits me as I love YA and second chance. I was pretty excited by the prospect of this.

I loved E&G but I still had my issues with it, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at another murky experience. I soon found out that Cherry
