Cute book with a little lesson. The illustrations were well done and the story of the brothers learning that it's better to work together was clear. Nice for young kids.

An okay story about cooperation and teamwork. I liked that they don't win the race. For HGTV fans ages 4-7.

It was cute even if you don't know the personalities involved.

Yes, I'm rating a children's book. Yes, I did so in order to get closer to finishing 50 books this year. Yes, I gave it 5 stars because I love the Property Brothers. No, I don't have any shame about it.

This was really cute. It certainly isn't my place to give any sort of detailed review since I'm pretty far removed from the intended demographic. I just know that I love Jonathan and Drew Scott and that my brother waited in line for over an hour to get them to sign this and their autobiography for me, so you know damn well I had to read it. The illustrations were adorable and there was great diversity in the cast of side characters. I do wish that Jonathan was the one with the better boxcar since he's my favorite of the two, but that's just me being petty

There are simply not enough good books about twins, but this is a winner. The combination of identical twin boys who love to build and tinker, while learning about the importance of teamwork was a big hit around here. And the fact that Jonathan and Drew are "real" people adds to the appeal. This is the second book by and about these two tinkerers and I hope more are to come.

The brothers are back in their second picture book. This time they argue about how to build the car for the derby. Each builds their own and neither works as well. During the race, they pair up and come in second. The message of working together comes through clearly.

I thought that the book was perfect. Drew and Jonathan realized in the end that even though they had different ideas sometimes compromising is a better idea than trying to go it alone since they are "better together".

“I liked that he hopped in the back of his brother’s car. My favorite part was teamwork makes the dream work! 🏎️” - Lucas

This was a wonderful addition shared from the duo highly known for their Property Brothers TV show! "Better together" focuses on a certain childhood experience that the two embark upon as the pair of brothers enter a soap box derby race that challenges their ability to work together. This beautiful picture book details their journey and learning experiences.
