This sat for I don't know how long on my shelf in the family room - hadn't read it before and I wonder why not. Pretty good!

Set in rural Mendocino county this novel, though older, was really fun for me to read, since our family spends vacation time up there fairly often. The ingredients of enjoyable mystery reading are there: good puzzle, fun characters, "sleuth" readers can identify with. Conservative readers know the sexual mores are what can be expected from "modern" mysteries, though not explicit.
