I love this book and use it as a resource for my cloth doll making. I have also bought a few extra copies to give to friends. It starts with a very simple 12 inch doll pattern and proceeds to describe and illustrate many ideas and techniques for facial features, hair and clothing. A 3 1/2 inch and 5 1/2 inch doll pattern are included along with many many photographs to show ideas for use of various body fabrics and hair styles. Simple clothing patterns are included along with pages of colourful photographs of finished dolls. It is such a delightful book to browse through time and time again for inspiration. If you like simple cloth dolls that can be embellished to your own imagination then this is a book for you.

I used this book to make a doll for my doll collecting mother's 50th birthday. It turned out beautifully. Both the instructions and the patterns were easy to follow.
