I was very surprised by this book. I was drawn to it from the controversy Ived heard about it, but honestly, if youve watched something like Spartacus then this really wont quite phase you.

The two main characters (both princes) are great! It feels nice to follow Damen because hes strong and good. Even tho Laurent may not seem it, his intelligence is so delightful to see unfold. Even if you start out hating him you will most likely catch on half way/ a quarter to the end that SOMETHING is
