Beloved author Deacon Greg Kandra knows all too well what it is to be busy. Drawing from his own experience, and those of fellow Catholics, and the saints lives, Deacon Kandra helps us realize the importance of prayer and offers practical tips for making it a part of each day. Prayer includes regular participation in the Sacraments (Mass, Confession) but is also about a constant communication with God and a way to plan our day each morning and evaluate our progress each evening.
Deacon Greg Kandra is a Roman Catholic deacon in the Diocese of Brooklyn, New York. For nearly three decades, he was a writer and producer for CBS News, where he contributed to a variety of programs and was honored with every major award in broadcasting. Deacon Greg now serves as Multimedia Editor for Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA.) He and his wife live in Forest Hills, New York.
There is nothing in this book that was earth shattering, but it was small, bit size, and contained a few prayers that I liked.
I'd recommend this particular book for the busy person as the title implies, digestable, no nonsense and countless remainders that the key is to do or pray...something....anything. You don't need to be a Thomas of Aquinas scholar. Just get started.
