Rate this book
A true story of football intrigue, mystery, blackmail and skulduggery. In 1919, Leeds City player Charlie Copeland was refused a request for a pay rise. A very interesting insight into the story of Leeds City and the emergence of Leeds United. Edwards presents City's brief history and the corruption of the FA that killed the club expertly. A shame a few typos stopped this from getting 5 stars. A must read for all Leeds United fans and all football (or 'socker') fans
