Chameleon the Spy thwarts the plans of a jewel stealing couple just as they are about to get away with robbing his hometown of its precious jewels and framing the mayor in the process.

A funny story with an intriguing mystery that I wasn't expecting.

I wonder if I read this one at some point during my childhood...the illustrations seemed vaguely familiar. This is a very silly story about a chameleon who solves crimes. I have to say, his camouflage skills are pretty spectacular.
