This book really helped me a lot. While my medical problems are not from a stroke but from a brain tumor, the results of the tumor are 'like stroke' in recovery. What I liked most about this book, other than it being very informative, is the case studies. This made it very easy to relate as sometimes facts leave us going HUH especially in my case ('huh' and 'what' being the main words of my vocabulary) right now.

I would recommend anyone who is going through any type of illness that affects communication in any way to read this.
