4.5 Stars!

I've been waiting for Patrick "Trick" Quinn's story since the moment I finished Capturing the Queen (an all-time favorite!) After having briefly met Trick in that book and liking him on the spot, my empathy was fierce for him during this one. A Savage Trick is the third in the Damaged Heroes series, and it is (in my humble opinion) the best to date. I typically gravitate towards books that do not have suspense, but Ms Andre’s books have nicely opened me to reading more in the genre. I stayed on my toes, cringing sometimes, outraged at others, and always trying to figure out what would happen next, and how it would end for Trick, Eve, and Zamira. Meanwhile, his family is living in a house that could use a lot of work (while he spends most of ...more

I lost sleep time over this one. Almost missed a lunch date too! Riveting read with a tender, sensitive romance.
