Saint Street, by Scarlett Hopper is such a great read! Five stars, for sure! Stana, an American (from Los Angeles) packs up her life and moves to England knowing she needs something different, but doesn’t seem quite sure what it is she wants. What she finds is a new way of life, friends who become family, an honest love, and most importantly - herself.

First off I would like to say that this is my first book I have read by Scarlett Hopper and it will not be the last. I started the book in the morning and the next morning I finished it because I could not put it down. The story dragged me in and kept me there and I could not get enough.
Stana is just living her life one day at a time. She would be considered more of a follower than a leader. After going through school and graduating she decides she is going to move from Los Angeles to London. On ...more

This is absolutelty my favorite Scarlett Hopper book to date and it excites me that it's just a start of a series. Stana as a character resonates a common dilemma of wanting to escape, go through the motion but never really giving up. More than a romance, this is a book of self discovery and that made me love this book more. Our hero, Ali is swoony to a T, I love how his personality fits well with Stana. Scarlett knows how to work her plot, how to tug the heartstrings of the reader, she understa

Scarlett Hopper is becoming one of my favorite authors. Her books are so good. She is an excellent writer with well developed characters.
Saint Street pulls you in and doesn't let go until the end. It is the story of Stana and her taking a leap to find herself and moving to London. While there she finds herself, her passion, her love, and her family. The journey for Stana to find herself rings true and has some amazingly poignant insights into life and relationships. The love story between Stana ...more

Saint street, don’t let the title fool you, it’s not all angels and halo’s :) it’s a tornado of emotions and happenings wrapped up into words on a page that will make you both love and despise some characters equally. Hoping for a book two to see if what I think is going to play out actually happens!

I want to thank Scarlett Hopper, author and Goodreads First Reads Giveaway for the eBook Kindle copy of Saint Street that I won in the Giveaway.
The plot of Saint Street is full of emotional growth of the main character, Stana when she realized she needed a change in her life and moved from L.A. to London. She finds good friends that treat her like family and Ali,a supper supporting soul mate to love and spend her life living happily ever after.

Received an ARC of this novel from the author.
This was such a cute read. If you’re looking for a feel-good romance, this is the one for you. Stana moves from LA to London and gets in with a small crowd of friends. Within them, she falls for Ali, the owner of a local bar Saint Street and band member.

Saint Street isn't your run of the mill romance, nope, it's more of a poignant journey of a young woman with the courage to leave everything behind to start over in a new country. That there's romance is just a bonus in my eyes. Augustana, aka Stana, Prescott is a follower, and has been that way her whole life, until she realizes that she lost herself somewhere along the way. She decides to travel across the pond to London, England in hopes of figuring out who she is away from the Los Angeles no

A beautiful story of finding yourself and true love.
This author was new to me but has quickly become one of my new favs. The writing in this book is amazing, great and easy to read storyline, wonderful characters and an all around great story!
Stana is unhappy with her life and is tired of living in the show of her “best friend” so she decides to listen to her cousin and take a huge chance by leaving America to move to England. Her journey to finding her self and her worth is wonderful. Ali and ...more

Stana takes a giant leap of faith and leaves everything that she knows behind in America and moves to start all over again in England, where new friendships and dreams are born. This is a well written story which is emotional, heart-warming, and romantic. I look forward to reading more from this talented author and recommend for all.

I enjoyed reading the story of Stana and Eli even though I read the second book, first, it really didn't effect the telling of the story. Stana left LA to move to England where her cousin lives, she felt a disconnect from LA and friends and wanted a fresh start. Stana needed to find out who she was, what she wanted and where she was going. In her soul searching she found not only a family that she cared for but her sole mate Eli. Eli had been lost and going through the same routines until the da

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.
This book is about a woman who leaves her life and family in California to move to London and start a new life. My major complaint about the book is that the blurb led me to believe that she was leaving some major trauma or event and yet when it is revealed why she left, it was, to me, a "first world problem." I'm not saying it couldn't be a big deal, it just seemed like the way it was written, it wasn't even a big deal to the character or her new friends ...more

Let me begin by saying that I received this in a giveaway, and I am always immensely appreciative when opportunities such as this are afforded to me.
That being said, I just couldn't get into this story. I had a difficult time connecting with the characters or feeling invested in the outcome of their stories. I didn't really enjoy the story from Stana's perspective. I think I would have preferred this tale told from every other character for a chapter each, and called it a day.
