The REMA lived during the Golden Age of Poland's Jews. It is worth reading this short book, because, besides learning about the REMA, the reader will also gain some exposure to this interesting period in Jewish history.
I was hoping for an insightful biography of the Rema, but this is a book for frum children that fictionalizes various stories about him. The author did admit that that's what it is and cites his sources (only about four of them) in the introduction, but still. Very disappointed.
