This is a short but very good book. I really enjoyed it. I am not a huge romance fan but toss in some Amish and I am there. Being so short this is a fast paced book. The is no sex or strong language in the book. Sara Harris does a great job. Can't wait to see if there is a sequel or if this will be a series. The ending was left with an opening for more books.
What would you do if one day you found out you were not who you thought you were at all? Rebekah Stoll is trying to figure it out.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
First of all, this is a clean, Christian, Amish romance. There is nothing inappropriate, and the matters of faith are minimal but still present. The fact that it is from the 1800's should also resonate with many readers. To be honest, I may have chosen to be Amish back during that time. The author has certainly made the Amish people quite inviting and very str ...more

Rebekah's Quilt is the first book written by Sarah Harris in her new series Rebekah's Keepsakes. This is a historical book set back in 1868 in Indiana Territory. The storyline is absolutely amazing and the characters are very likeable. I enjoyed this story from the first few pages and throughout the entire story. The author lets us experience the hardships from this era in great detail.

This is a delightful short read that takes place in Amish country in the mid 1800's. An Amish couple is moving to Indiana when they come across an overturned wagon. They find an English couple that are deceased. They hear a baby cry, and as they hadn't had any children of their own yet, they take the baby with them on their move. Fast forward several years. Rumspringa has come and gone. Rebekah has eyes on her best friend, Joseph. It appears that Joseph is about to propose, when Rebekah's world

This is a short story about an Amish woman named Rebecca. In the mid 1800s, her parents migrated from Germany to Canada. They then moved to Indiana. On the way to Indiana, the wagon train came upon an overturned wagon. They found the deceased English couple, and buried them. The Indians had massacred them. While burying them, they heard a baby cry. A couple that hadn't been blessed with children took the baby into their family. When they reached Indiana, they could not locate her family, so they

This is a lovely light Amish story. Rebekah is taken in as a baby to a loving couple who hadn't been fortunate to be blessed with a child they so desperately wanted.
Rebekah became theirs and many sons afterwards.
Many years later Rebekah is grown and falling for her long time friend, then a surprise visitor arrives at the farm, and he destroys Rebekah's faith.

Rebekah's Quilt, by Sara Harris has been provided by Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
What an adorable young love, first love story. The innosense is so touching. Great story reaffirms that family does not have to be bloodline related. Again, I am touched by the generosity, welcoming, and nurturing of the Amish ways. And, a little rooster fight makes it humorously complete.
This is my first go-around with this author, and I look forward to reading more. This particular book was a short ...more
