Is the user-friendly gospel really changing lives, or merely a feel-good message that ignores the unpleasantries of sin, conviction, and repentance? Bailey Smith reassures and inspires readers to maintain the powerful, life-changing gospel God intended.
Though many of Smith’s points are spot on, he often overreaches in his conclusions. Still, this is a book to get conversation started about what it means to follow God and to rely on the Bible. Smith does a good job at pointing out that Christians should be different from the rest of the world of the message of Jesus has not penetrated our lives.
