Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my book, Yearbook, for the inside flap (which is a gross phrase) and for websites and shit like that, so… here it goes!!!

Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the fi

This essay collection is a fucking delight. The stories are incredibly funny and the hilarity builds to a crescendo with an essay about meeting musicians. I rarely laugh out loud while reading even very funny books but this one has me cracking up over and over and waking up my wife.

There are a lot of interesting observations about fame, drugs, coming of age, and the like. The authorial voice is the strongest part of this book. Rogen knows he is a good storyteller and it shows, throughout.

To preface, I usually go into autobiographical books knowing I am going to have to talk myself into finishing them over a long period of time. I was expecting to do the same thing with this, even though I am a huge fan of Seth Rogen.

That was not the case. This b*tch was finished and read within a day.

I preordered and forgot about it, until I received an email notification saying it was delivered. I grabbed it on my way out to dinner with my boyfriend, and decided to take a peak on the drive to

It is absolutely no surprise, but this book is fucking awesome! I have loved Seth Rogen since I first saw him in Knocked Up, and was psyched when I found out he wrote a book. This is funny as hell and has such a real down to earth storytelling vibe that it makes for a quick read! ❤

Incredibly charming.

I happen to love Seth Rogan, and I find him to be both extremely affable and very attractive. What can I say, my upbringing impregnated in my brain an affinity for Jewish men with glasses and good senses of humor? I was hoping that Year Book would be as funny and enjoyable as I was expecting, and I'm happy to report that I was right.

Sure, the book skews a little (okay, a lot) to stories of drug-fueled mishaps, but I enjoyed them, even if I've never been to Burning Man hopp

Yearbook , the new book from Seth Rogen, is a funny collection of vignettes/recollections from the comic actor.

What’s your feeling on Seth Rogen? Do you think he’s funny? Are you a fan of him and his movies? I think he’s talented and I’ve enjoyed some of his stuff, but my general feelings toward him definitely depend on my mood. (Then again, I feel that way about everyone, lol.)

Sometimes the wildly or mildly outrageous stoner comedy appeals to my juvenile sense of humor and sometimes I simply

Book Review — Yearbook by Seth Rogen, forthcoming.

I already said I’d be a biased reviewer of the upcoming @sethrogen pub “Yearbook” by @penguinrandomhouse. Seth Rogen’s my favorite actor, so I guess he could probably write anything and I’d enjoy it. I want to thank @penguinrandomhouse for the opportunity to read this book before it comes out soon. It really means a lot!

Summary: Rogen pens a collection of essays about various aspects of his experiences as a comedian, as well as personal growth

I tried SO HARD not to give this 5 stars, but it was just so good, like genuinely one of the best audiobook experiences I’ve ever had. Really really well written, and the full cast recording with atmospheric sound effects really drew me in; honestly, more audiobooks need to be produced this way!

Yearbook will also slap particularly hard for anyone with a working knowledge of Vancouver - I’m pretty sure the same “leathery balled man” tried to sell me chocolate magic mushrooms at Wreck Beach one t

I DID NOT KNOW HOW BAD MY SOUL NEEDED THIS. Have I ever laughed this hard in an audiobook? No. Please listen to this if you love Seth Rogen, it’ll be one of the top audios of your year I can promise you that.

This was fine. If I didn’t enjoy Seth Rogen’s movies and his overall presence, demeanor & humor, this may have proven to be less palatable, but being that I adore him, it was quite easy to get thru. I just imagined it being read in his very distinct voice and accompanied by his even more distinct laugh & that got me through the 1001 stories about being high.

There was a lot of name dropping. A lot of, I hung out with this famous person, and that famous person, and this famous person did this wei

I met Seth Rogen quite a few years ago when I was an extra in The Night Before. I love Seth, I think he’s fucking hysterical and a genuinely nice person.

I love this book and it’s written exactly how he speaks, as if he’s just shooting the shit with you. Of course, I had to smoke while reading this. It didn’t feel right if I didn’t. Yearbook is a funny book filled with wild stories. Some stories I could actually relate to, others not so much. Seth holds nothing back, he even calls out America on

Honestly this book is so funny I listened to the audiobook and it was GREAT. Man does not hold back and he gets a lil serious too and drops some hot takes. Good stuff 👍🏻👍🏻

As someone who doesn’t usually read nonfiction, I was pleasantly surprised by how much this book portrayed a storybook feel. Seth Rogen is absolutely hilarious, genuine and knows how to tell a good story. This book was laugh out loud funny and overall an amazing read.

Exactly what you would expect from a Seth Rogen memoir. If you like Seth you will like this book. If you dislike him "Yearbook" won't change your mind. The stories are funny but also thoughtful. He shares some truly hilarious and shocking celebrity encounter stories, which aren't always flattering to the celebrity in question, but Rogen is never mean spirited. He writes a lot about Jewish identity, experimenting with drugs, developing as a tween/teen comedian, and a lot of ridiculous childhood s ...more

I really like Seth Rogan hence the 5 stars. I had been reading a lot of mentally ‘heavy’ books and this was just a lovely break.
It felt like a friend was just telling me some gas stories from their past - it’d be cool if Seth was my friend... I’d like to smoke and make pottery with him

This was such a fun reading experience! Seth Rogen recounts a bunch of hilarious stories that range from his childhood in Canada to working on various projects in Hollywood. He definitely has a knack for storytelling, which shouldn’t be surprising given how many scripts he’s written over the years.

I listened to this on audio and I’d definitely recommend checking it out that way. Seth Rogen narrates a lot of it, but when it’s scenes of him having dialogue with other people they’re voiced by a fu

Fun fact on my husband and my first date we went and saw Knocked Up! Looking back I laugh but I really wanted to see it, it looked hilarious and we laughed a ton! We still watch it whenever we see that it’s on. Seeing that Seth Rogan had a book coming out , I knew I immediately had to read it, my husband and I have seen all his movies!
Going into the book by the first page I was laughing, while reading I could hear his voice , he writes just like he talks and it felt like we were sitting down an

Funny and entertaining memoir, especially on audio. There’s a whole cast of actors recreating most of the dialogue in the book, which was a nice touch.

Lots of drug references but if you’re familiar with Seth Rogen that’s not too surprising.

Stories were not necessarily organized in any manner that made sense, and it started and ended a bit abruptly.

Would recommend to anyone who is a Seth Rogen fan!

Listened to the audio which was hilarious and the best way to take in Seth Rogen. He’s very self-aware but doesn’t apologize for some things, like his love of weed. I get it.

His stories of his grandparents and parents have love all over them. Sweet and funny. I’d listen again.

This is one of the most hilarious and well done audio books I’ve ever listened to. Every time I popped it in my ears I was laughing out loud. Particularly loved the INSANE high school stories with Vancouver as the backdrop and also Tom Cruise trying to convince Seth and Judd Apatow that Scientology IS NOT batshit crazy. Bravo. Seth is a Canadian gem.

I have admittedly been excited to read this one for months now, so I will say that I was probably going to like it no matter what, but it is so well written and true to Seth's voice, you can almost hear his laugh through the pages! I would like to apologize to my friend Cassandra for accidentally finishing our book club pick before she even got her copy. Oops.

Seth Rogan delivered a hilarious memoir.

He starts by telling us how he got into standup comedy at like....12 years old. Standup wasn't just telling jokes, it was telling a funny story that happened to you that might feel relatable to an audience. So naturally, some of his first jokes were about his grandparents. That's who he spent time with, giving him ample opportu
