It has been a really great exercise reading this little book (as well as the other 6 habits) along side The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. A brilliant book by a brilliant mind. I already feel the void that the death of Dr. Covey leaves.

Quotes, hypothetical questions, excerpts, sharing of wisdom, comedic anecdotes, illustrations, etc. This small book shares the seventh (Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw, in the words of Stephen R. Covey, "Habit 7 is taking time to sharpen the saw . . . . It's preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have--you.) of seven principles of the original The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in a portable, easy-to-read, more simpler to incorporate and comprehend, in a lighter, portable format.

Each principle builds upon the other--the first three moving you from dependence to independence. The second three transitioning you from independence to interdepence (the goal we all want to achieve--we just don't realize it, most think they want to become independent, not interdependent).

Our bodies are all made up of 4 rooms: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This mini book tells how important it is to spend some time in each room everyday. Nice, attractive format that's easy to read with lots of good quotes.
