Samantha Christy brings the feels. Sara and Denver struggle to navigate in her new reality where they think they can't have what they really want. Both characters grow and change for the better in such a realistic way. So glad to see Denver finally have some good happen. He finally gets his HEA.

It was pretty good, not my favorite from this author. Nothing steamy until like 3/4 of the way through the book! Ha ha liked the story though.

Getting lost in his kiss.
Getting lost in his gray eyes.
Past or Present.
Feelings torn between two men.
My fiancé or the man with the gray eyes that I see in my dreams.

Sparking Sara is an unforgettable journey between Sara Francis and Denver Andrews. An accident brings them together and together they heal. Making new memories while trying to remember the past. But the past may be to painful to remember. The struggle of moving forward. Being a better person. Going with your heart or with what

What a completely unique story. Two lost souls just trying to find their way in the world. Both just as lost as the other.
Denver is such a beautiful man. With a huge heart he only wants the best for everyone, even if he ends up empty handed.
Sara is confused and scared of the unknown.
The chemistry between them is there from the start but slowly gets stronger throughout the book. I adore their friendship above anything else, they bounce off each other and make each other whole.

This book is everything. I am so in love with Denver. He’s the perfect romance novel guy. Sara is such a fighter. Never giving up. Incredible story telling. Amazing chemistry. This is an absolute must read.

BOOM...Yet again Samantha blows us out of the water with the second of the Men on Fire series.

Denver has had so much tragedy in his life, and for those of you that have already read Stealing Sawyer, you will be familiar with his past (If not you really should, don’t know what you’re missing ). Through that tragedy his heart is set on becoming a firefighter, however much his heart may be in it, his mind is another matter.

Sara, she has so many battles to overcome. Will Denver be the one to help

I received an ARC of this book and absolutely loved it. I was not expecting this storyline and it was amazing. Such a heartfelt read. I love how all of Samantha's characters are intertwined in all of her stories. Looking forward to Brett's adventure! ...more

Sparking Sara is an absolutely amazing love story. This book has all the feels and grabs you at page one and doesn't let go! Romance, some action and suspense, absolutely wonderful characters, and a hero to die for ........make the perfect story. Denver and Sara met under the worst possible circumstances, but end up with the best possible outcome. These two are perfect together and I absolutely loved the ending. Once again, Samantha writes a perfect love story!

5+ Star's

This is Denver and Sara's love story, while both characters on their own seem damaged, together they help each other fight through their issues, I would recommend this book and series to adults that love reading stories that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.

OH my goodness!
This story!
I went into it not sure how I felt about Denver…. in the previous stories he is kinda blah. Kinda seems like a loser. (Harsh, I know.)
But, I love him!
I love him so much!
He is all HEART!!! So much heart! Gives 100% of his love to those he cares about.

Denver saves Sara from the wreckage of a car. He feels a connection with her that he has never felt with anyone else. Such a strong connection that makes him want to stay with her while she is in a coma in the hospital. He

Another great book by Samantha! You have Denver, who is a firefighter and a girl he rescues, Sara. They seem to have this instant spark but as you will find out her life is complicated so it’s a bit of a slow burn to get to the good part. But the relationship they develop during this time is so sweet and Denver is a such a swoon worthy hero. And the end is everything you could hope for. Another winning book by Samantha Christy. Can’t wait for the next one!

Samantha delivers again with a sensational story Sparkling Sara! One of the things I love most about Samantha’s writing is you don’t know where the plot is leading, you just HAVE to keep turning the pages. And what you find in those pages...Oh My...Denver is not only my new book boyfriend, he is my book soulmate! With so much dedication, understanding, and unconditional love for Sara, Denver rescues her in EVERY sense of the word and in every way he can...”nothing short of miraculous”.

I love the way Samantha makes her characters so relatable. Denver is a new firefighter trying to work past losing his parents in a car accident a few years prior. He feels so drawn to Sara and I loved how Sara’s subconscious was drawn to him. It was so enjoyable seeing past characters making cameos in this book. It’s a slow burn but so worth the wait!

I have read everything that Samantha Christy has written, and one of the things that I love about her books is that there is always a unique element to her plots. Sparking Sara is no exception.

I have been waiting for Denver's story since he was first introduced in Igniting Ivy (well, really he was mentioned in Stealing Sawyer). He has done a great job of really trying to turn his life around after some awful things that he has gone through. I loved how protective he was of Sara, and how he

In what's become my typical emotional reaction to a Samantha Christy story, this book reduced me to tears, battered my heart, and carefully mended me and soothed my wounded heart before leaving me all smiles. Gosh.....what a journey for Denver (Aspen aka Sawyer Mills wife from the Perfect game series is his twin sister) and our dear sweet warrior heroine, Sara. There was practically nothing left of my heart strings after these two were through with me. Pass the Kleenex pronto!!

Please do me a favor and read this book :)

Have you ever read a book and things just come up that force you to put it down for some time?.. Yeah that happened to me with this one, BUT i was finally able to finish after having it wait for me in my KU for all this time. This period in no way had anything to do with the book not holding my attention because let me tell you... I devoured all of Samantha's other books inabout 2 weeks. Life just happened you know..

This book definitely had me in my

This was my first novel by Samantha Christy. I picked it up for the name (Sara spelled the right way!) and the firefighter on the cover. Hello! I wasn't really sure what to expect but for some reason I thought it would be steamier. However, I really liked the story and we got to watch Denver and Sara build up a strong bond before romance even entered the picture. The first half of the novel reads more like contemporary fiction than romance.

This can be read as a

Another 4.5/5 for me! Only a little less than 5 because I loved a few of the other stories more. Denver is such a good guy, and I have been looking forward to his story!
Well edited.

Denver is Aspen's brother, whom we met back in Aspen & Caden's story. He has been cleared of the charges back in Kansas City, and has moved to New York to start new. Not only did he move, but he also changed careers. Denver has finished training for the NYFD, and is now waiting on assignment to a station. However,

I was intrigued by Denver & hoping he would get his own story after falling in love w/ his sister, Aspen, and Sawyer in Stealing Sawyer. I'm so happy these characters continued into a new series!

This story was written in quite a unique way - part one is from Denver's POV & part two is from Sara's, with an epilogue from Denver's POV as well. I loved the way that was done - getting to be exclusively inside Denver's head for the first half of the book. I love the characters & the

Sparking Sara is the second book in Samantha Christy’s Men on Fire series. While you don’t need to read the first book to understand this book, it is an amazing read. Fans of Christy’s books will recognize characters from her Perfect Game Series as well. I have read all of her books and know that this is one of my favorites.

Denver and Sara’s story begins after a tragic series of events. This is a slow-burn romance in which both of the lead characters start out as friends. This progression of

I have no idea where Samantha Christy gets her AMAZING imagination and gift for writing. She has yet again made my jaw hit the floor in speechless wonder with the story line of the 2nd Book of the Men on Fire Series. This story is not your average romance novel and you will not be disappointed.

The broken souls of Denver and Sara will break your heart from the start. Denver is so willing to give so much to others but never leave anything left for himself. While Sara just hopes to find out who she

Another incredible book by Samantha Christy! Sparking Sara is a unique story that brings together two people who share amazing connection from the beginning. Their journey is different. It's built on loyalty, emotion, and understanding. A love develops that is so real you will feel it deep in your soul as you read.

Denver and Sara will capture your heart from the beginning. Denver is the sexy firefighter that has his own issues he has to overcome. His relationship with Sara helps him to that

Slow burn that ends with a Spark!

Slow Burns can be an either hit or miss for me however Samantha’s storytelling is so well written you can barley notice.

This story was different and the heroine had a bit of a bad reputation and an accident changes everything. Denver is so swoon worthy you can literally melt! He stays by her side and also makes an effort to overcome his demons. This story is an example how some can change and an unfortunate event is what sparks the goodness in people!

Oh what a great Christy book. Denver first introduced in Stealing Sawyer, gets his own story to tell. And what a passionate one at that. While living in MO? Denver was a lost soul. Now, Denver is living in NYC and a NY Firefighter. A firefighter living with demons from the past, the memories of his dead parents and the inability to witness car crashes. Until the day he’s dispatched to a auto accident, where he meets Sara Francis, a gifted artist, seriously injured, and very little chance of ...more

The second book in The Man on Fire Series, like all Samantha Christy books, does not disappoint. In Sparking Sara we learn more about Denver Andrews and the struggles he faces. He is a devoted, caring servant for others who has faced many obstacles in life. Sara Francis is a highly sought after artist who gets another chance to make her life better. Honestly, this book was a different read for me. The story is perfect for Denver...the journey he takes helps him in so many ways. I've actually ...more

Genius and Twisted in all the right ways!

Samantha Christy is a genius!! I was so excited that this book told Denver’s story. Again, In sticking with her style, there was frustration with characters along the way. But that just adds a bit of realism to it. I love the depth of the characters and how past characters show up and you get a peak at them. A bit of a catch up. All the connections and extensions. I just love that. Denver and Sara...their story takes twists and turns and keeps you

Another fantastic read.

Dual POV but the first half is from Denver’s POV and the second half is from Sara’s POV (I generally prefer alternating dual POV but this setup makes sense for this book). There are a couple of sexy scenes but nothing super graphic, although I wouldn’t want to read it aloud to my parents. Not much humor but this is a romance not romantic comedy. Loved the appearances of characters from her other books in this “world” - if you read the others then you’ll appreciate the

Despite the fact that she is a romance writer, Samantha Christy's favorite television show of all time, like ever, is The Walking Dead.

And contrary to the fact that her heroines drink things like wine and Cosmos, she prefers Bud Light.

She also loves fan mail and until she gets really really famous, she will answer it all.

Yeah, yeah, she went to college and all that, getting a degree in something
