Samantha Christy brings the feels. Sara and Denver struggle to navigate in her new reality where they think they can't have what they really want. Both characters grow and change for the better in such a realistic way. So glad to see Denver finally have some good happen. He finally gets his HEA.
It was pretty good, not my favorite from this author. Nothing steamy until like 3/4 of the way through the book! Ha ha liked the story though.

What a completely unique story. Two lost souls just trying to find their way in the world. Both just as lost as the other.
Denver is such a beautiful man. With a huge heart he only wants the best for everyone, even if he ends up empty handed.

This book is everything. I am so in love with Denver. He’s the perfect romance novel guy. Sara is such a fighter. Never giving up. Incredible story telling. Amazing chemistry. This is an absolute must read.

BOOM...Yet again Samantha blows us out of the water with the second of the Men on Fire series.
Denver has had so much tragedy in his life, and for those of you that have already read Stealing Sawyer, you will be familiar with his past (If not you really should, don’t know what you’re missing ). I received an ARC of this book and absolutely loved it. I was not expecting this storyline and it was amazing. Such a heartfelt read. I love how all of Samantha's characters are intertwined in all of her stories. Looking forward to Brett's adventure!

Sparking Sara is an absolutely amazing love story. This book has all the feels and grabs you at page one and doesn't let go! Romance, some action and suspense, absolutely wonderful characters, and a hero to die for ........make the perfect story. Denver and Sara met under the worst possible circumstances, but end up with the best possible outcome. These two are perfect together and I absolutely loved the ending. Once again, Samantha writes a perfect love story!

This is Denver and Sara's love story, while both characters on their own seem damaged, together they help each other fight through their issues, I would recommend this book and series to adults that love reading stories that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.

I went into it not sure how I felt about Denver…. in the previous stories he is kinda blah. Kinda seems like a loser. (Harsh, I know.)
But, I love him!
I love him so much!
He is all HEART!!! So much heart! Gives 100% of his love to those he cares about.

Another great book by Samantha! You have Denver, who is a firefighter and a girl he rescues, Sara. They seem to have this instant spark but as you will find out her life is complicated so it’s a bit of a slow burn to get to the good part. But the relationship they develop during this time is so sweet and Denver is a such a swoon worthy hero. And the end is everything you could hope for. Another winning book by Samantha Christy. Can’t wait for the next one!

I love the way Samantha makes her characters so relatable. Denver is a new firefighter trying to work past losing his parents in a car accident a few years prior. He feels so drawn to Sara and I loved how Sara’s subconscious was drawn to him. It was so enjoyable seeing past characters making cameos in this book. It’s a slow burn but so worth the wait!
I have read everything that Samantha Christy has written, and one of the things that I love about her books is that there is always a unique element to her plots. Sparking Sara is no exception.

In what's become my typical emotional reaction to a Samantha Christy story, this book reduced me to tears, battered my heart, and carefully mended me and soothed my wounded heart before leaving me all smiles. Gosh.....what a journey for Denver (Aspen aka Sawyer Mills wife from the Perfect game series is his twin sister) and our dear sweet warrior heroine, Sara. There was practically nothing left of my heart strings after these two were through with me. Pass the Kleenex pronto!!

Yeah that happened to me with this one, BUT i was finally able to finish after having it wait for me in my KU for all this time. This period in no way had anything to do with the book not holding my attention because let me tell you... I devoured all of Samantha's other books inabout 2 weeks. Life just happened you know..

This was my first novel by Samantha Christy. I picked it up for the name (Sara spelled the right way!) and the firefighter on the cover. Hello! I wasn't really sure what to expect but for some reason I thought it would be steamier. However, I really liked the story and we got to watch Denver and Sara build up a strong bond before romance even entered the picture. Sparking Sara is the second book in Samantha Christy’s Men on Fire series. While you don’t need to read the first book to understand this book, it is an amazing read. Fans of Christy’s books will recognize characters from her Perfect Game Series as well. I have read all of her books and know that this is one of my favorites.

I have no idea where Samantha Christy gets her AMAZING imagination and gift for writing. She has yet again made my jaw hit the floor in speechless wonder with the story line of the 2nd Book of the Men on Fire Series. This story is not your average romance novel and you will not be disappointed.

Slow Burns can be an either hit or miss for me however Samantha’s storytelling is so well written you can barley notice.
This story was different and the heroine had a bit of a bad reputation and an accident changes everything. Denver is so swoon worthy you can literally melt! He stays by her side and also makes an effort to overcome his demons. This story is an example how some can change and an unfortunate event is what sparks the goodness in people!

The second book in The Man on Fire Series, like all Samantha Christy books, does not disappoint. In Sparking Sara we learn more about Denver Andrews and the struggles he faces. Dual POV but the first half is from Denver’s POV and the second half is from Sara’s POV (I generally prefer alternating dual POV but this setup makes sense for this book). There are a couple of sexy scenes but nothing super graphic, although I wouldn’t want to read it aloud to my parents. Not much humor but this is a romance not romantic comedy.
