This is an OK shifter romance, with a mostly likable couple. I liked both of them, but I did wish that Niall had more self confidence. He was so sure that he wasn't good enough for Marcia, which led to him damaging their relationship. I also wished that both of them would just talk to each other. Most of their problems could have been avoided if they had just talked and shared their feelings, instead of hiding and causing themselves lots of unnecessary angst. I'm totally against unnecessary angst in books anyway, so that lowered my rating.
One problem I have with all of this author's series is that there is so long between books. Lots of times I have to go back and reread some of the earlier books in a series, simply because it has been so long that I don't remember all the characters. That is frustrating. I know that this author writes lots of books -- but I wish she would concentrate on one series at a time, so that the books could be published closer together.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.

I've been waiting for this book! And now Niall gets matched!
After watching his friends get matched, Niall has given up on dating and definitely tired of Shiftr and it's promises of 90% matches that are nothing but mistakes. Currently stuck in Devil's Back Ridge being a temporary Alpha. Niall has been exiled by his clan and having problems with his bear in secret. Niall's life takes a turn when the coyote shifters steals his phone and uses Shiftr to lure an unsuspecting woman to Devil's Back Ridge. Of all women the coyote shifters could lure, it's the one who broke his heart 16 years ago.
Marcia Hunt has moved back to Hope Valley, leaving her old life behind with a marriage and career in ruins and shambles. The last person she expect to meet and rescue her is her old flame Niall, no longer the boy she knew. The chemistry between the two are still sizzling hot, but things aren't so simple as picking up where they years ago. Get That Bear....
My very favorite app in the whole world and I don't even get apps, but if they offered this one I would get it!
Niall is so tired of seeing all his clan brothers get their mates and he is on the outside looking in.....He doesn't even want a mate, he already had his mate and she left him for another 15 years ago and ever since he has been a broken bear, man whatever..He even signed up on Shiftr and he can't even get more than a 90% match there. To top it all off Conner sent him away to the mountains to rule in a Rag Tag bunch of shifters....Even his alpha doesn't want him around!
Marcia so regrets the decision she made 15 years ago to listen to her parents and leave the love of her life Niall and marry another.... He was and still is her one and only love...If only.......She relocates to Hope Valley after a nasty divorce and Tamika convinces her to sign up at Shiftr and she receives a 100% match. He is a hunk of a bear, but his picture is so blurry, but she decides to go up the mountain anyway, if she can't have love at least she can have a partner for life......

Finally another Shiftr story, and we're finally going to see how Niall's story goes. Avoiding spoilers, I loved the book. It's on par with every other book in the series and it really shows what can happen when you give love a chance (or even a second chance). It's a great story, and shows us a lot of potential for more stories to come which has me really excited for this series to continue.
I loved both characters. Seeing another side to Niall, and the hard effort he's making for his clan. Our strong Marcia is a woman after my own heart. She's decided on a way for her life, but is open for possibilities. Needless to say where the book starts and where it ends are obviously not the same.
Overall, if you're a fan of the series I without question recommend this read too. If you've read any of Ariana Hawkes book before - this series (and this book especially) are totally worth reading too. A great series (and book) for any paranormal romance fan who likes happy endings.

Love this series.
It was really good to see Niall’s story come out. I have always loved that bear shifter. Niall had a hard job he was faced with, but I guess you will have to read the book to find out what that was.
Marcia was an amazing woman. I love how strong and fearless she really was. She was very stubborn as well. She was a type of girl that decided to fight for what she really wanted and I love that about this story.
Niall will have to learn to trust again and that seems to be really hard for him. I can understand why he was protecting his heart though.
Timberson I was trying to decided where to love or hate him. By the end of the book I have to say I am hoping to see more about him in upcoming stories.

Being one of the last single shifters left, Niall is sent to look after a group of misfits. His job is to see if they can join civilization or if they need to be put down. Niall is doing a good job but he is lonely. He misses his clan and wants a mate.
Marcia is put in what could have been a very dangerous situation if Niall hadn't stepped in. Niall and Marcia have history and haven't really moved on.
This book was a fun second chance story where the author did an amazing job showcasing that they loved each other as kids but they were grown up now and even though they might have changed, some things didn't.

I have missed Hope Valley so much! I am so glad Niall got to tell us his story! Adriana Hawkes does an amazing job of showing us not just one but two stories of second chances! There has always been a part of me that was cheering for Niall to get his mate but this story helps us to understand that the bar was set by Marcia!
Second chances are not just for love in this story but for life as well! I think there is more to the ragtags that need to be told! Can't wait to see what happens with Dalton and if Adriana will tell us more about the ragtags! Adriana hits you right in the soft tender heart with this story! Love Love Love!

Book 14 Nialls Story 5 stars
I Really liked Niall an his story!
Fated from a young age Marcia his bff then later something more are the perfect couple until something happens that neither saw happening . losing touch Niall moves on with life an makes a home in Hope Valley as second in command. Until a bunch of rag tag shifters cause chaos an Niall is forced to become there alpha. This bad little bunch are so mischievous that they steal his phone an use the app to get someone unexpected up there.
This story had laughs and alot of drama but it was a fantastic story. I loved every page.
The entire box set had much surprise love and much more! Recommend to all shifter lover readers!

I absolutely love this series and I am delighted that Niall FINALLY got his own book. Poor Niall has given up trying to find a mate on Shiftr, or find a mate at all. Marcia is coming off a divorce and wants a mate so she signs up for Shiftr. Wow, they match up 100%. How they actually meet up again, their past history and all that transpires where Niall is living is sad, touching, emotional and in the end, full of happiness and joy. What wonderful characters and a great story. Now, Dalton needs to find someone. Another group of stories could also be written around the misfits.

Enjoyable
As always, very likable characters and a good storyline. My issue with the story was twofold. First after not having seen his mate in 16 years and her her child hood lifelong friend you think they would’ve just come together sooner. Second, as #2 in charge of his other group it didn’t Makes sense for his bear not to come forward if he was going to be put down by the Honeybear in the badger. This one just didn’t seem quite as good as some of the others and it ended rather abruptly.

Glad for KU with this book.
Gosh it has been so long since I read this series.
Niall and Marcie were okay but I didn’t feel any spark even with their history.
Think Marcie was too soft, not good hearted. Needed more backbone for me. Her ex-husband basically ruined her career, whether she wanted it or not and suffers no consequences.
Found this an okay read but had shades of other series thrown in. Just read a couple os series with the same theme, shifters on their last chance before being put down.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.

1st love since school, family breaks them up, feeling and agrees to marry jerky manager. She can perform in front of a lot of people having anxiety attacks, her husband leaves her and her parents . She get on app tricked to coming to them,and Naill saves her,she stays to help him with ragtag shifter and they get to know one another again.

No all gets a second chance
I'm so glad Niall finally got his mate and it turned out to be his true love. I can't say that Niall and Marcia are perfect for each other even if the app did. Then who knows exactly how this app is designed. Lol I say they balance each other more than anything. It was a nice story and I'm glad I got to read it. Can't wait to see what happens for Dalton.

Second chance with all the feels
Shirftr: Swipe Left for Love (Niall) by Ariana Hawkes is a well written shifter romance with a lot of heart. I felt invested and completely engaged with this couple from the beginning. Marcia and Niall’s story, their second chance, was interesting, steamy and full of love. It was palpable how much love they still had for one another.
Overall, a sweet shifter romance with plenty of steam and a much deserved, long-awaited HEA.

Niall is one of the last two bear shifters not mated and it's driving him nuts. His Alpha, Conner, sends him to take charge of a group of shifters causing trouble. The worst part is that they don't care who they shift in front of...including humans!!
Marcia moved to Hope Valley to restart her future. She is on the Shiftr app and has a match, who she makes plans to meet. Things get crazy from there on out!!

Marcia and Niall have an awesome story. Niall is fed up with trying and as one of the remaining single shifters, he agrees to take the group of misfits and become their Alpha. Marcia is positive she can help Niall and sometimes a past love will make you complete. Excellent writing with a storyline that is phenomenal.

Very enjoyable and entertaining read fantastic addition to the series. I had been waiting for Niall story so it was definitely worth the wait plus I'm a total sucker for second chances at love story. Hopefully Dalton will get his story too. Overall a great read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Poor Niall. He is one of two shifters in his clan without mates. At the request of Connor, the clan Alpha, he relocates to supervise a nearly feral group of misfit shifters. In the meantime, a woman from his past is lured to his location. The past revisited and a time for healing. Wonderful story for Niall (he was due).

Absolutely Fantastic
I really enjoy visiting Hope Valley again. The characters are always captivating and entertaining each book is fascinating with great passion and romance. This is book 14 and every book can be read as a standalone but you will absolutely enjoy reading them all as I did. But I enjoy reading all of Ariana Hawke s books.

Wonderful
I was so glad to see that Niall finally got his story told, Marcia and him are a perfect match. I really enjoy the swipe left for love series, and I really hate that all is left is Dalton to find his mate unless we get to see the rag tag crew get theirs, that would be great because I don't want this series to end.

High anxiety!
This was one of my favorite Shift Left for Love! Nial was so full of angst and insecurity it got a little redundant or boring! Wanting to shake him up and make his head flop! Marcia and him just couldn't communicate! It was a boring ride because he was so irritatingly wishy washy!

Well this might be the last one in the swipe left series, but it was definitely one of the most extraordinary reads in this series!!! Loved every minute of this book and couldn't out it down. Really can't wait to see what comes next from Hawkes!!!

Another fabulous story
I have been looking forward to reading Niall's story and it certainly didn't disappoint. Marcia is the perfect mate for him, helping him to rehabilitate the rag tag crew he was Alpha of. Lots of action and adventures in this story. I am looking forward to reading about Dalton finding his mate, too.

Fantastic Read
I love this series and am always anticipating the next release. I hope it keeps going for several more books. Enjoyed As Always
This has got to be one of the most enjoyable series I have read since I was first introduced to shifter romance. I love the characters and the continuation of the successful dating app. Niall deserved to find his happiness with Marcia and the story did not disappoint. I will be so sad to see this series end.

A lovely story
This is the best story of second chances! Timberson literally needs a second chance at life, Niall only thinks he needs a second chance with a personal situation, and Niall and Marcia have a possibility at a second chance at first love. The romance is charming, as is the HEA, and I look forward to reading the series finale!
