This is an absolutely precious book of rhyme for children! Each poem is so magical, particularly “A Breath of Sun”! The illustrations, as well, are simply stunning. Children will be captivated and entranced by the way all the colors come together to illustrate magical happiness!

I love this collection of poems that should not disappoint fans of Shimmer, Songs of Night by this fabulous poet and illustrator team. Each piece is a delight and the bright, vibrant illustrations are a spot-on match. I'm torn as to which is my favorite: "An Hour in a Snail's Day" or "Sprigs".

Poetry and rhyme has always come naturally to me. In school years, I excelled in creative writing, enjoying the freedom of language in poetry and its various forms. I went on to work in New York graphic arts firms, and was a songwriter and worked in publishing for NYC record labels.

I transitioned my focus from song writing to writing poetry for greeting cards, and had much success, inspiring me to
