Her voice brought me back from the darkness, but I don’t want the sweet relief she promises. Unlike the rest of the morts on my planet, I don’t want a mate. Especially not her.

She’s loud, boisterous, and doesn’t take no for an answer.

Unlike the rest of the alien females my brothers have woken from cryosleep, Molly doesn’t find my growls intimidating. The more I try to igno

Her laughter forever chases away any lingering darkness. She is my light, my mate, my future, my love. Mine.

”The Lost Planet” series is wildly entertaining and I’m thoroughly addicted!! In ”THE MAD LIEUTENANT” the third female awakens and it is the damaged and mentally tormented Draven who she clings to for comfort. Molly and Draven are kindred spirits and they seem to inherently know how to calm each other. Once Molly is made aware that the

Seriously. Where the heck is my alien? These morts are something else and if I were to be stranded on a desolate and radiation ravaged planet, I can't imagine better people to be stuck with. These men are willing to do just about anything to make their humans happy. They're just thrilled with the chance to save their species. Everyone seems to crave a mate. Well, everyone but Draven. A mate is the very last thing he wants. He can barely withstand his own compa

The rekkings came fast and furious 😉

Three books into the Series and I’m still having a hard-Mort-on for these sporking Morts.
We learnt of a few more answers - like how long the women were in their cryotubes and let’s say it wasn’t like a quick trip to the convenience shop, but those answers lead to even more questions and if that’s not enough, a few little mortshells were dropped along the way too 😉.
I’m hoping the next book will provide more answers, especially more on that cock ring of Jareth’s

With The Mad Lieutenant , K Webster and Nicole Blanchard keep building and layering the Lost Planet world. We , also get few new intriguing plotlines and eye-opener revelations; while continuing the main narrative line arc.

This book answers and begins to explain a handful of very interesting queries :
👽Why the women were in the cryosleep and where they were going .
👽Is there a connection between Mortuus and Earth.
When I first started The Mad Lieutenant, I wasn't sure how I would feel about Draven because in the prior books he seemed like a tortured soul and a self imposed outcast who I might not connect well with. My hesitation quickly went right out the window. Draven was so interesting, caring, and quirky. I loved getting to know Draven and Molly. I laughed out loud several times at things Draven said as he tried to understand this new human. I really loved the humor in this book.

I just knew from the start, that I’ll fall for Draven. He’s my favorite alien now. There’s just something about odd, troubled and distant heroes that attracts me and Draven was a type of male, who needed a solace in the form of strong, loving and caring female. And he found these qualities in Molly- another human who was captured and awakened on the Lost Planet.

I love that the authors gave our aliens human features. Not only physical, but also mental. That’s why they’re so compatible with the fe

Loved. Loved. LOVED this baby.

It was one on my list of one of my most anticipated reads because Draven was the one Mort that I was absolutely fascinated by and while I was excited to get my hands on it, I was also hesitant...just in case. But there was no need to worry at all. This book had it all for me. It was funny, sweet, smexy and full of heart as well as a bit of drama tossed into the mix and I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Draven and Molly’s journey to their H

I am LOVING this series!
Mortuus is home to 10 male morts. If they don't breed, they face extinction.
They find a ship with five female aliens and bring them back to Mortuus.
We've met Breccan, then Calix, and now we are meeting Draven.
Draven is a tortured soul. He's the only one to contract the Rades and survive but he's never been the same since.
Molly wakes up and finds herself in a weird place with weird aliens. She's got secrets that she's hiding. She also holds more clues as to why the wo

The Mad Lieutenant is the 3rd book in the Lost Planet series. This is Draven's story. After coming back from a disease called The Rades, that wiped out most of the Mort population, Draven continues to have trouble acclimating to living with his fellow Morts. He spends a lot of time outside as he frequently feels the needs to flee and be alone. That is, until Molly wakes from her cryotube and scares the hell out of Draven.
It was really nice to see a softer side of Draven in this book and learn a

The Mad Lieutenant by K Webster & Nicole Blanchard is book 3 in the Lost Planet Series. This is the story of Draven and Molly. I do feel you would enjoy them more if you read them in order but if you choose not to you should be okay.
Draven had the virus that killed most of the Mort population and he is still suffering the side effects and the scars of it. This makes him want to be alone which makes him cold toward Molly and most others. Molly has some back issues herself but she does try to

I loved this story. The Mad Lieutenant is a great story about two broken people that find the love they are both missing.

Draven has been hurting and struggling ever since the sickness took most of their people. He is diffidently not the nices person on the planet, but when he meets the person who could be his mate, all bets are off.

Molly is woken up on accident during a storm on the planet. The first person she sees is Draven, whom for some reason she has an instant attraction to. But it isn't

The Mad Lieutenant by K Webster and Nicole Blanchard is book 3 in the Lost Planet series. This is Draven and Molly's story.
Molly is the 3rd woman to wake up from the cryogenic sleep. She chooses Draven to be her mate. Draven is an outcast and doesn't want a mate. He is a tortured soul and his soul speaks to Molly for she, too has demons in her past that has her with a tortured soul. These two have a chemistry that is undeniable.

Claiming an alien

Just like our heroine I've claimed my own alien. Book 3 has quickly became a fave as more background information is revealed not only do we begin to understand why these ladies where in a vessel to begin, while also learning more about this planet existence and a shocking discovering in the EPILOGUE.

If you are new to the series I must say go back to the 1st, because book 4 will bring us not only another HEA, but more info into this universe, possibly new turns and wishfully thin

This is Draven and Molly’s story and oh is it a good one! Draven is rough and he’s not looking for a mate he’s afraid of opening his heart to anyone. The authors both bring you into there world and I never wanna leave! I can’t wait for the next book sounds like it’s gonna be hot! 5/5 stars

Good story.
Both are reluctant mates.
Best to read books in series order as previous characters and couples appear and their stories continue.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
No other woman or man drama.

I really like all of the Morts, and have always felt sorry for them. I mean, only 10 males left of their entire species? That would be so hard to have to deal with.

But of all of them, Draven has a special spot in my heart. He has gone through so much, more than any of the others I think, and he is so broken. There's just something so vulnerable and fragile about him, even as he works to be so strong and do his duty.

Molly was very brave, I think. She had all this stuff just fall on top of her,

The Mad Lieutenant is a beautifully wicked, edge-of-your-seat thrill ride that never lets up. If you thought the first two books were amazing, then this book will dazzle and delight your senses and put your heart into a tail spin. This series as a whole is such a brilliantly complex plot that never fails to leave me in shock and smiling brighter than the sun. It is so unique and deeply touching on a pure and primal level that will speak to everyone it touches. Trust me that you do not want to mi ...more

Every time I open a book from this series I am whisked away to the far reaches of the universe, and am immersed in a world that my mind can hardly comprehend. I feel like I am continually trying to push the boundary of my mind, and am not quite absorbing all there is to take in of this world. The intricacies of the Mortuus world, that K Webster and Nicole Blanchard build is so detailed that you can almost feel like you are there. The Mad Lieutenant is Book #3 in the Lost Planet Series. This is Draven & Molly's story. Draven appears in the previous 2 books but it is not necessary to read the previous books (but you will want to) to understand this one.

Although he is cured, Draven still suffers side effects of a disease called The Rades. It almost wiped out the entire Mort population. Most of the time he wants to be alone and is always looking for exits where he can bolt whenever the feeling hit

This story idea is a good one. The morts have suffered an infection which has cost them all their females. Ironically, they came across a dormant prison ship of human women being taken off Earth to a prison planet who never made it and it turns out they seem to be compatible. The women are rescued in cryopods and the morts have been waking them one by one. They are trying to be respectful of the women's wishes but at the same time, there are still far too few women for the number of morts and th ...more

This was an absolutely wonderful read. I thought that Draven and Molly were so incredibly perfect for each other. Both of these characters were tortured, broken souls with painful pasts. I felt that it was truly beautiful to see them finally find peace and happiness in the safety of each other's arms and hearts. I loved how at first glance you would think that these two are polar opposites. And in so many ways they are. But in the end you find out just how much they really have in common. The ch ...more

This series is slowly breaking me. Every book in the Lost Planet Series has gotten better and better. I have SO many questions right now that I have to patiently wait for answers and I don't know if I can wait! I just finished reading this book and I already want the next one!! I love this series! But I struggled a little in the beginning with Molly. She was annoying and kinda irritating to me. I wasn’t feeling her whole personality. It got a little better for me by the end of this book.

I didn’t know how Draven’s book was going to go. He had a lot of issues and quirks to get past to feel fully comfortable with Molly. Him having the rades really did a number on his body and mind. It was sad to read his internal struggle. I liked how little by little Molly was help
