4stars (cards and guidebook)
I have to say that I really like this deck and I am very pleased to have it in my collection. I find the artwork amazing and I am in love with the colours. However, to be objective, there are several pros and cons.
On the negative side, the cards are a bit larger than the typical Lenormand size which is not great for creating a Grand Tableau. (However, if you have the space for it, they could be used as position holders in a GT for smaller Lenormand cards!!)
There are no extra significators, just the standard 36 cards. Which can be a bit not so great for same gender readings. (Although it is still doable if you just ignore the genders of the querent and partner cards).
The artwork (although stunning) is a bit busy for quick reads but it helps with the interpretation of the cards.
The guidebook is jam-packed with information about the cards and includes black and white images of them. But it doesn't include any information on how to read a 9card spread or a Grand Tableau.
On the positive, the cardstock is laminated, durable and easy to shuffle. (Not matt but not super-reflective either).
The guidebook also provides some extra meanings of the cards that are in line with the traditional meanings yet they add to them (and I have not seen them in other Lenormand guidebooks I have read). The deck comes with gold gilded edges (personally I prefer non-gilded edges but it's not a problem).
Last but not least, this deck is a mass-market and very affordable one and it comes in a sturdy little box, so you really don't need any other storage solution.
p.s. The cards have the playing card correspondences too, although they are very subtle.
