I was really looking forward to the sequel to Bisecter, and it didn't disappoint! The story was action-packed and there was plenty of mystery to keep my attention throughout. It wasn't all boring character development like a lot of second-in-series can be. I really like the way Hemera develops as a character through her experiences and her relationships with the other characters--she definitely gets more complex without getting annoying, haha. For a while, I had difficulty getting a read on all of these new characters, but then, so did Hemera. The characters grow in depth throughout the tale, and towards the end, Hemera's character begins to evolve as well. If you enjoyed the first book, it is worth your time to continue. If you have not yet read Bisector, start there. ...more

I really love both of these books. Where did you come up with the halves? And people that can't be in sunlight. I know you are writing the 3rd book but do you think you could expand the story?

I like the story but sometimes Hemera is so stupid I want to shake her. It distracts me and makes me question continuing to read the series.
