When I was a young child, I adored solving puzzles and connecting the dots to see what pictures I could create and what mysteries I could solve. If your child enjoys these activities too, and/or if you are looking for a fun way for them to learn how to count and learn about the world around them, then Dot To Dot ACtivities For Learning is the perfect book for your 3 to 5 year old child!
This book contains over 40 dot-to-dot puzzles designed to help kids learn the alphabet, their upper and lower case letters, and how to count to 100 by 1s to 10s.
The interesting thing about a book like this is that your kids aren't even aware that they are learning their ABCs and 123s- they are so engaged om trying to discover "which animal is trying to eat the fish for lunch" or "what plant-eating dinosaur had three horns on its head" that education becomes fun!
Turn off the TV and treat your child to some old-fashioned fun with this delightful educational resource!
I received a copy of this book from the Callisto Publisher's Club but this did not in any way influence my opinion.
Want to help your child learn their alphabet and numbers in a FUN way? Then this could well be the book that you need! Separated into five sections, the first one will take you to the farm where your child will practice the alphabet with capital letters. This is followed by a trip back in time to the age of dinosaurs. The dinosaurs will help your child with their lower case alphabet. Back to some more cute animals in the Numbers 1-20 section. Go under the sea for 'Count by 10s and Count to 50'. Last but not least travel to space for the last section of counting to 100.
Concerned that your child might get confused? Don't worry! The complete alphabets or numbers (1-20) needed are listed in order at the top of each page. 1-50 and 1-100 are listed in 10s to keep your child on track but challenge them to think on their own a little.
This is a FUN book that little ones are sure to enjoy. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher. That has not influenced my review. Thanks, Liz
This is a great activity book for kids ages 3 to 5 years of age. The best part is the kids learn while having fun at the same time. Using dot to dot connecting pictures with scenes that include dinosaurs, farm animals and space travel, kids learn how to count to 100 and learn the alphabet. This is a perfect book to take on road trips or on vacation and give the little ones fun for hours, while the parents or grandparents know they are learning the basics of the alphabet and counting at the same time.
My four year daughter absolutely enjoys the heck out of this book. She has always been a fan of dot to dot so she was super happy when I handed this one over to her. Not only is it dot to dot, but it also has a few sections of teaching them how to count by twos, tens, etc. As they go through the book, the dot to dot get a little harder, which I like. There are quite a few pictures for the kids to do. My daughter has almost completed the entire book. Very happy with it. I was given a complimentary copy from the publisher.
I received a copy of this Dot-to-Dot Activities for Learning book from Callisto Publisher's Club for my honest review. I have a four year old daughter who loves doing puzzles of all kinds. Dot to Dot is one of her favorites. She doesn't draw the lines very well but she's learning and getting better. I think this activity book will also help with her penmanship. She really enjoys this book and I often find her sitting quietly working on a new puzzle. I love it for her too!
