The Red Head: I never had a home until I was an adult, living in foster care as a kid. Now, I have a family, one I chose for me. But I’d always longed for a man I could call my forever. Instead, I found two, and they both want me. So how do I choose between them?
The Doctor: I found the woman I want for life and she’s in love with me. But she also loves another man. When he comes to me and proposes sharing her, I am shocked. I don’t share. But what if she doesn’t choose me over him? And why is it every time he looks at me, I long for him almost as much as I do her?
The Fireman: I can’t choose between him and her so why not have them both? He’s not interested in me, but I’d rather have them together than not have them at all. They are both mine, he just doesn't know it yet.
Leigh Lennon is mother, veteran and a wife of a cancer survivor. Originally with a degree in education, she started writing as an outlet that has led to a deep passion. She lugs her computer with her as she crafts her next story. One could say she loves pretty nails, big earrings and spiky hair. She can be found drinking coffee or wine, depending on the time of the day.
Sigh...this one is being tossed into the DNF pile. First, I felt like I was dropped kicked into an ongoing story, second, there was just something about the writing that wasn't meshing with me. It felt a bit juvenile, and crude. I couldn't stand the heroine AT ALL. Oh well, onwards...
I love a good MMF book but this story was definitely more than that!
Fahrenheit by Leigh Lennon is a MMF story that has so many layers to it. Scarlett is in love with two men. Jordan, the doctor that doesn't see shades of grey, and Levi the fireman that colors outside the lines. Both are completely opposite except they both want the same woman. Here is the tricky part. Jordan is straight while Levi is bisexual and is attracted to Jordan as well.
I loved that Leigh Lennon didn't take the easy road with this story. Scarlett and Levi were never in question, who they are or what they want. Jordan had to deal with inner conflict about sharing Scarlett, his tentative friendship with Levi and the feelings growing inside of him. Levi sees a beautiful life with Jordan and Scarlett but sometimes his desire for this relationship outweighs his patience and he pushes when he should have pulled back at times. Unfortunately since Scarlett is having to deal with two males, she ends up hurt the most when there is conflict.
Add in the drama that Levi is facing with his job and you get a well rounded story that is brilliantly written! I can't wait to read more from Leigh Lennon!
This book is super hot!!! These 3 had a chemistry that is just insane! But the specifics of their relationship is where the most work needs to be done. There is always that one person that is a bit of a hold out. Jordan had a real problem dealing with the idea that he could be attracted to both a man and a woman. But almost from the beginning you can tell that Levi is so in love with both Scarlet and Jordan, so you know it will be hard for him to contain his feelings and keep it all just with him and Scarlet. The question is how far will he be able to push Jordan without him freaking out? I think Leigh did a fantastic job showing the struggle that this man was going through. Not that he had a problem with being gay, but that he has a problem with working the the grey area. Things are not always black and white... there is a whole lot of color to be had. And these 3 are some of the most colorful people I have had the pleasure of reading about. This is a 5 star read for sure.... make sure that you are ready for some serious hotness with this one because Leigh delivered the F-I-R-E!!! (and not just the ones that Levi was fighting on the job!)
This book was a toughy. I wanted it to be good, as I want ever MMF book I come across to be good. And adding firefighter, that for sure tripped my trigger.
The book was good-ish, especially for this trope, it is difficult to come by a GREAT MMF. It is hard to keep characters organized when there are three mains and all share their own first person POV in alternating chapters.
My biggest problem was that this book cannot be read as a standalone, and book one, Foundations, was a BIG DNF for me. I can't get into all that right now.
I TRULY believe Leigh will grow into a better writer.
My first few Leigh Lennon books had me hooked, sucking me in deep, leaving me desperate for more of the author’s work. Since my first Leigh Lennon book, the author has written across different genres, and I find I enjoy some of her work more than others. In fact, I have clear favourites, to the point where there are a few of her books when I cannot claim to be crazy about.
With The Power of Three Love series, I was unsure about the first book. I’m no stranger to erotic novels, I read too many of them if I’m honest, yet I find I can never connect with Leigh Lennon’s scenes. It’s not to the degree of certain authors where I feel uncomfortable, but the feelings evoked are not what they should be. Foundations, book one in The Power of Three Love series, made it clear this would be another series where the erotic nature of the story would be higher than the emotional impact I enjoy in other Leigh Lennon novels. However, it won me over enough to receive a four-star rating and I was curious about Fahrenheit.
With Fahrenheit, I found myself battling between a two-star rating and a three-star rating throughout the book. A part of this is due to the heavy focus on the erotic, and the fact it evoked the wrong emotions from me, but mostly it was the fact I felt we came into this story when it was already partway through. Yes, we got to see bits and pieces in Foundations, but it still felt like we were missing too much information with this one. There were too many blanks, and even the constant flashing back to prior conversations failed to fill in enough for me.
What made me decide to be generous and round up, instead of the rounding down I came very close to doing, was the interaction between Levi and Jordan. I enjoyed the way they were complete opposites and worked so well together. They were easily my favourite thing about the book.
Overall, Fahrenheit had good points but it did not wow me in the way other Leigh Lennon reads have.
WOW, what a beautifully written love story. We know that Leigh Lennon can write a fantastic MMF book (Foundations), but in this book she gives us a side of suspense courtesy of Levi’s job as a firefighter. This book mainly focuses on Scarlet, the red headed seductress, Jordan, the hot doc, and Levi, the hot fireman or LT. Scarlet wants a relationship with both men, but Jordan is straight or is he? Levi is bi and he pushes Jordan, sometimes a little too much, lol. If you’re looking for a book that will draw you in from the beginning, then this is the book for you. We learn why Scarlet feels the way she does and what her relationship with Arden and Daimen is. I loved how we get to catch up with everyone and I absolutely loved the epilogue and the bonus epilogue. This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading Foundations if you want to know more about Arden, Daimen, and Elliot, Levi’s twin sister.
Again Leigh brings an MMF book to life. We have three people Scarlett, Jordan, and Levi in a relationship already. However, they all need to make certain decisions so that they can keep their relationship going. While Jordan and Levi need to decide if they want to become more than just Scarlett's boyfriends, Scarlett also needs to get through her traumatic childhood history.
If you like MMF books then you will LOVE this, it is steaming HOT!
All Scarlett ever wanted in life is to be loved unconditionally! Levi is bisexual and meets Scarlett, for him it is love at first sight, and he doesn’t mind the fact that she is seeing another man, Jordan! Jordon is the jealous type and wants Scarlett for himself, but she cannot make that choice!
Levi, who has been in a relationship with a couple before suggests that they try a triad relationship! They al agree, but Jordan has one stipulation, him and Levi do not have ANY sexual contact!
What follows is a love story where two men are determined to put their woman first, one man flirts openly with the other man hoping for something more, and one man who refuses to admit his feelings, until it’s possibly too late to save the relationship!
Fahrenheit by Leigh Lennon is book 2 in The Power of Three Love Series. This is Levi, Jordan and Scarlett's story. This is a sweet and steamy story that tells the story of a woman who has fallen in love with 2 men and won't chose between both. She craves them both- the doctor and the fireman. One of her men is into men and women while the other says he wants her. This presents a is he or isn't he scenario. The emotional impact is high in this story while at the same time there is a suspense storyline that is going on as a secondary storyline. I enjoyed the drama, angst, steam, heat, kink and romance in this erotic emotional read. The ending will have you reaching for tissues and fans( for cooling off)
Fahrenheit is a hot and sweet story. The love between Levi, Scarlet and Jordan will hit you right in the feels. The one liners will have you rolling. Do not miss this book.
I really enjoyed this book! I was so drawn into their world. I felt every emotion written. I eagerly await to see whose book comea next from this gang!
This is a great written MMF.. it’s not an established triad so reading about the struggles and the kinks they are trying to work out makes it feel more real. Jordan struggling with his sexuality felt real. But what I LOVED MOST is the focus was on Scar!!! And that’s the problem with a lot of MMF. The women can seem like they are pushed to the side sometimes. Or she is there as an excuse so one of the men can have the other. 3.5⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶
I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. Ok first let me tell you that I'm not fan mm, so going into this book I kept an open mind. I loved Jordan and Levi they were greasy men with good heart. But I felt like Jordan was pressured quite a bit to be what he was not. Which made me angry at scar in a few scenes. I also loved seeing arden, Damien and Elle again those three are just perfect together. I think scar, Levi and Jordan can learn alot from them. I'm so crazy about Gardner I can't wait for his story.
This book though. *fans self* So hot and so sexy! I absolutely couldn't put it down. I know that that seems like such a cliche thing to say but for real! I had to find out if, when, and how the fireman, the doctor, and their red hot siren all got together. This book caused me so many nail prints in my palm from wanted to strangle someone but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way and in the end Ms. Lennon made sure that I was left with a smile on my face.
This was way more than just a MMF story. There is an added element of suspense that adds to the amazing storyline. Scarlet, Levi and Jordan were smokin' hot together and the three of them each have a piece of my heart. Their story isn't just hot sex and happiness. There are unexpected issues and bad experiences they endure. I really enjoyed being able to read about their lives.
Hot, hot, hot.... All I wanted was to find out if the Doctor and the Fireman fell for each other. This was a sexy, hot read. I especially loved how all three characters grew and grew together. It was an amazing transformation. Highly recommend this book.
Please keep in mind that a heavy part of my downgrade in rating has to do, for the most part, based on the medium I consumed this book in: Audible. I usually enjoy audiobooks over reading not only for the multitasking potential, but the immersive experience I get from voice actors/actresses. Even better: if you can get a male voice actor to do a decent sounding female character or vise versa… *chefs kiss*
That said, there was ZERO of that from the male actor. I legitimately had to rewind to the beginning of some chapters to figure out which of the two malade characters perspective I was listening to. They both sounded the same. And for whatever reason they sounded like dude bro’s from California with a weird Canadian tinge to a few specific sentences here and there… I can’t put my finger on my insistence of the Canadian accent, but it is what it is.
As a female in a state touches California & in large metropolitan area that encounters many dude-bro types from California, the fact both H’s sounded like that ground on my nerves, SO much, to the point I was tempted to return the book.
Thank goodness for the voice actress… she was great! I’m glad her scenes tended to go on longer! And thankfully, with exception to a few scenes, the h seemed to be a strong woman asking for what she wanted and setting healthy emotional boundaries without being overbearing nor a pushover.
TBH, though… the plot of this book was good, but I wish it was a bit longer with more details in the beginning of their relationships in this plot, a bit more back story, etc. Even reading the other books in this series before, the beginning of the book was the equivalent of “F*ck it! Let’s do it!” While jumping in the ocean of Antarctica nude. It was a bit abrupt and felt a bit jarring to me.
Anyway… this is my spazzy review of this book that made me feel this way. LOL!
This one drove me nuts and most of the time it was Jordon who caused it. I thought for someone who was a doctor, who had a brother who was gay, a sister who was a lesbian, he was a huge prude! Yes, Levi shouldn't have pushed him so much, but most of the problem was in Jordon's head and his idea of what love was and what it wasn't. I was honestly surprised that Scarlett would put up with either guy at times and the couple of times she took both guys to task about what was going on they deserved it. I am glad that they got things figured out, but it came at the cost of almost loosing it all due to the drama at the end.
I really liked this read, it had a great storyline and I loved the trio of characters that made a triad. They were each different but fit together so well. This was tame for me I have read some really intense MMF and this one was just steamy not rocking my world read. Levi was my favorite followed by the spicy Scarlet, and then the brooding good doc, Jordan.
I really wanted to love this book, I liked the base story line. My concern is the story seemed to drag on. The MC all seemed to have two moods to them , until 75% into the book . Sex scenes where well written but that was about it.
Farenheit is a super hot, and sweet love story about 3 people, Scarlett, Levi, and Jordan. The chemistry on the pages between the 3 of them was palpable, and so bery steamy. Scarlett is dating two men that she has fallen for, Levi and Jordan. She has been open and honest with both of them, so they know about eachother.
Scarlett has a big open and loving heart, and she has enough room in her heart to love the two men she'sgallen for. She is smart and compassionate, and know's this triad can work if they all agree to try. Scarlett's parents were killed when she was 7, which led to her being put in foster care. She was bounced around too many foster homes as child, and because of that she has a deep rooted fear of being abandoned. Even as a grown woman this fear gets in her way, and she freaks out at the thought of having to choose between Levi and Jordan. Levi proposes they try to share her, with all three of them being in a committed relationship; a triad.
I love how sure Levi is of himself. And not just sure as in cocky, because he is that, but sure in the way that he knows who he is and what he wants. He's not ashamed of who he is and what he wants; he's willing to fight for what he wants, and he'll fight and protect those he loves. He's fearless in that. Levi know that Scarlett can't and won't choose between him and Jordan, it's all or nothing for her.
Jordan is smart and kind, but everything in his life is black or white; there is no gray area. Jordan frustrated me the most. He knew he had some kind of feelings of affection and attraction to Levi, but he fought those feelings, and himself for so long that he ends up hurting himself and the people that love him. Jordan had to resolve the issue about being in a relationship with both a male and a female, in his own mind. To his analytical mind, you were either gay or straight; no gray or in between.
Leigh Lennon has done it again; Farenheit is a great love story with a HEA, that draws you right in. I recieved an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I wish I would have read Foundations, the 1st book in the Power of Three Love series, first as Scarlett, Levi, and Jordan are in Foundations, and it would have been easier for me to keep track of all the side characters in the book and their relationships.
We know that Leigh Lennon can write an amazing MMF story (case point: “Foundations”) but with this one she outdone herself even more. I wanted to read more about Jordan, Levi and Scarlet (Red), since I saw hints of them in Foundations, cause Scarlet is Damien and Arden’s “little sister.” Levi is Elliott’s twin brother and a very hot fireman. Jordan is Scarlet & Elliott’s best friend’s brother as well and an emergency room doctor and that made me hooked from the very first paragraph. As you start reading and start getting to know Jordan, Levi and Scarlet you wonder how this dynamic will work, and yet you knew it will and you just can’t put the book down until you are certain that they will get their happy ending. The sex scenes were hotter and more detailed which I loved. The romance was fun. With Levi he was just so playful but at the same time I had to remember that he was just as invested as the other two main characters and could get his heart broken. Jordan was straight so seeing him fight his feeling for Levi was fun and sad. I loved when he finally accepted the whole thing. What’s is quite different from the previous story is that the guys didn’t have a relationship and Scarlet was dating both of them at the same time with both of their agreement...but Levi felt something for the doctor just as much as Scarlet did so the reader could see the trouble coming early on. I really enjoyed whole story development and how they all finally become one happy triad but I had moments I wanted to shake Jordan for him to not fight so hard for so long. What we get here is a love story where two men are determined to put their woman first, one man flirts openly with the other man hoping for something more, and one man who refuses to admit his feelings. But when he finally decides he is in for this relationship will it be too late? If you want to find out you need to read this amazing book.
You know you are in for a real treat when a redhead named Scarlet or Scar for short is nicknamed Red, the doctor is called Doc, and a fire department lieutenant is dubbed LT.
This book reads as if it was written in a foreign language and then run through a translator. It is beyond sloppy editing with sentence after sentence ranging from the bizarre to nonsensical. The characters preface nearly every sentence with "fuck" or "shit". The author used the word "shit" 138 times, mostly in sex scenes, apparently in appeal to the under served niche market of scat fetishists. The word "fuck" appears 320 times but it's OK because everyone loves everyone as we are reminded 284 times. Packing this much shit, fuck, and love into 200 pages is impressive.
I am often willing to put up with quite a lot for a menage story with a reluctant guy if it can hit the right notes. This one is just tone deaf. Doc says he isn't into guys, and LT swears that they are just there for Red and he will respect his wishes. LT then proceeds to spend the entire book pressuring Doc into a romantic relationship. Most of their interactions made me cringe. I have to confess I gave up trying to read the book after a few chapters and skimmed through the rest looking to see if there were some hot scenes between the pair, but could find nothing remotely interesting.
Generally I give an author more than one chance before crossing them off my list, but for Leigh Lennon, I'm making an exception.
And now a few of the many perplexing sentences.
"Her almost hazel brown eyes looked up, locking on my own eyes as her blow job was that of legends."
"Those men I knew as my brothers were in a unique realm of circumstances than I was in."
"Not like it was that fateful night my parents had not come home from their date at the age of seven"
"But I also knew that Levi wouldn't deny Jordan anything, as he wouldn't me."
"In no time at all, he'd raised himself from my presence, and he was gone, exiting Scar's apartment." (Note: I think the author meant "erased" not "raised", but "raised" is so much funnier.)
