Victor Stanhope has provided an insightful peek into the work-life a first-year teacher is likely to encounter. While student-teaching and interning might cushion the shock of the transition from academia to a teaching career, there is no denying the harsh reality of the new experience in the best of situations.
Victors story is very candid and quite engaging, I really enjoyed his story-telling style. His descriptions of his failures and successes make a great difference in the entertaining

Victor Stanhope provides an honest and reflective view of a first year teaching. This book is extremely helpful for both new and old teachers alike.
