Usually, sequels don't measure up to the original, as the author seems to have poured everything into the original. Not the case here. Not-at-all.

Ms. Rogers has come up with a stunning sequel that is in many ways better than the original. Intrigue abounds, along with a lot of paranoia as Nash Korpes, our main character, returns. He's not your typical hero, but then again, this ain't your typical novel. Often thrust into tricky situations, Nash's intelligence isn't always enough to keep him out o

The Korpes Agenda is an epic story of future humanity. Reminds me of the Golden Age of science fiction stories. Authors like Asimov and Clarke covered wide sweeping panoramas of future worlds. In Rogers' story, we learn about conspiracies, rich powerful individuals with dark dreams, and individuals trying to live and love.

This vast sprawling tale is tied together by a focus on Nash Korpes. Nash is a deeply flawed human whom I cared about and anxiously agonized over. Each life event for Nash is

WARNING: Contains spoilers for The Korpes File.

I exchanged copies of my books for copies of J.I. Rogers' books when we met up at a local comic con. I've already given a stellar review of the first book in this series, The Korpes File, which sucked me in on the night between the two days of the show when I really needed the sleep.

The Korpes Agenda is, if anything, better than the first book.

We resume contact with our unlikely, probably crazy, certainly brain-injured and PTSD-plagued hero, Nash X.

Overview: When planetary military factions reach a boiling point, brilliant but haunted Master-Technician, Nash Korpes, is finally forced to act.

This exciting, action-packed second chapter in Author J.I. Rogers’ Korpus File Series comes fully-loaded and ready to shock and awe. As startling revelations about jealousy, betrayal, corporate espionage, gambling, and drug addiction come to light, the mass-murder of a tech firm’s board of directors paves the way for a dangerous corporate takeover that

Sequels – books as well as movies – often disappoint. It is hard, it seems, to recreate the freshness and the thrill of the original Big Idea. So when a sparkling second book actually betters the first, it is a surprise and a delight.
Rogers’ sequel to The Korpes File is a triumph of plot and intrigue, with deliciously rich characters and stunning landscapes. The central character, Nash Korpes, evolves into a loving and loveable hero, who is both deeply flawed and uniquely gifted. As evil forces

Much anticipated after the first book in the series, this second book definitely didn't disappoint!
I'd already become hugely attached to the fabulous, yet flawed protagonist, Nash X Korpes and as his further adventures unfold, we follow him in a deeper, darker roller coaster of plot and sub-plots.
There is a whole lot more in this second volume. A much richer and more complex story which builds on some of the earlier intrigue and sets up further questions and avenues which no doubt will be explo
