Business Associations: Cases and Materials on Agency, Partnerships, and Corporations
Continuing the tradition that has made it a leader in its field, Problems on Professional Responsibility uses problems to provide an overview of lawyers' professional responsibility. One of the most rapidly changing fields in American law, professional responsibility sees new issues, rules and cases each year, all of which are covered in this book. The Ninth Edition covers the American Bar Association's Model Rules of Professional Conduct, which were extensively rewritten in 2002; the American Law Institute's Restatement Third, The Law Governing Lawyers, and issues raised by federal agencies that play an important role in determining lawyer standards. Other changes to this edition include more citing authorities, fewer black letter questions and issues in each problem to allow more time for discussion and questions; and the integration of readings into discussion materials.

probably fine, for a JD course--one of the courses that everyone should take in lawyer school.

Most cases can be found on Legal databases such Lexis and Westlaw. Thus, I don't think this is a good coursebook. I personally dislike the idea of just posting case facts, notes, questions, but doesn't provide a good answer, which will help shape the internal logic of legal application.
Still, I enjoy the course in UW, so I gave it 3 stars.
BTW, we didn't cover 100% of the book in the lecture. Yet, probably 50+%.

It needs more commentary in between cases. A little too bare bones. I could have just have just used the table of contents and westlaw.

Did the unhelpful thing where it asks you questions at the end of the cases instead of explaining the information

No class was more difficult for a political science major in law school with little understanding of the MBA world than Business Associations. I don't believe that this casebook helped at all. Another monster that would be a struggle to carry with one hand.

In retrospect, this was a pretty concise case book.

Steer clear of Bubba's Burritos AND casebooks.
This is partly a joke, but partly the sad reality of my life. Please suggest good reads for me to take up after law school.
