I think this was my favorite book of the Twisted Ever After series! Kardiya and Rumpel worked well together, even though she started out doing so under duress. Due to past experiences, some of their making but much of other people, neither has much reason to trust the other. And yet, as they struggle physically and mentally to overcome the hardships inflicted upon them and their traveling companions as they try to fulfill the prophecy and save both of their worlds, they become quite close. I found this book to be as boring and as predictable as the first one. I found myself only reading the dialogue between other characters just because I didn’t care to hear about Kardiya as I did in the Dragon Swan Princess book. The series seemed like a weird parody of a Once Upon a Time season. I did appreciate how Grantham attempted to twist the fairytales into something else, but I was underwhelmed.

Rumpel’s Redemption is the third entry in Tamara Granthams Twisted Ever After.

Rumpel’s Stiltskin (you’ll know him) kidnapped Dark Elf Kardiya in revenge for cursing him into a Goblin. Once the curse is broken, he seeks out Kardiya in a bid to save his homeland.

Love was never in the cards for Rumpel’s. Can he save his people & Kardiya’s, and win her heart too?

Excellent conclusion to the Twisted Ever After Trilogy, and absolute 5 star read.

I love twisted fairytales. What I enjoyed about this one is that Rumpel Stltskin is mean, greedy, or bad as portrayed in the normal fairytale. He's just a being trying to do the right thing and save his people. There's action, adventure, and a bit of romance. It was a fun read.

Amazing!

This was my favorite of the three fairy tales Tamara has written, but I did love them all. She has an amazing way of seeing what could have been in these stories and encourages you to see them differently. It was a wonderful read.
