This look and find was for children and I, a 26 year old adult, who KNOWS what all versions of Mickey and his friends look like, and I STILL couldn't finish some pages because of how difficult it was to find them. They do not use consistent drawings or depictions of the characters throughout the book, so it takes forever to even figure out what drawing you're looking for. And later i the book they're so easy to find its comical. There was no in between on difficulty levels, it was either impossible or impossibly easy. I can't imagine a child trying to do this.
Maybe one of the worst Look and Find books I've ever done. And I'm a huge Disney/Mickey Mouse fan, so I was severely disappointed too. You're supposed to find Mickey and his friends (Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy) in each page. They travel around the world but the book is not consistent - are they visiting cities? states/provinces? countries? landmarks? It's kind of all over the place: Mississippi, China, Disneyland, Paris, Rome, Switzerland, The Moon. The book starts off in black and white, and then moves into color, and the art style changes too. I guess it's supposed to be because they're traveling through both space AND time. You have to find Mickey and his friends in an art style that doesn't match the rest of the image; for example, classic Mickey and Minnie as you know and love them all today in a sea of randomly drawn people. It's actually... quite easy... too easy on some pages. And others are really, really hard.
For example, the first page (Mississippi) is black and white, and the characters are also drawn in the old style.... there is no hint box on the side to show you what you are even looking for.... I had to check the answers page and even after being shown where Goofy and Minnie were, I'm scratching my head like "Really? That's the answer?"
Or the Paris one, I'm sorry to spoil but all the characters are just like, gathered in the same area so you find them all at once. No challenge at all.
Ugh I'm getting mad just even trying to write this review and I'm just going to end it here. This book is not great at all. One star.
