Colel is book five in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.

Colel is a Goddess, one of those that were created to protect our earth. She is Mistress of the Bees. Her seventy thousand years existence is dedicated to keeping the bee population of the world safe and healthy. Only the bee population has been dying out and she can’t figure out why. That is why she is currently in this tiny Colorado town checking on the local hives. When she walks into the local flower shop, so
If you're looking for a good laugh with some snark and wacky deities that will make you smile. This is the book for you!
Yes, this book comes with a warning when all it needed to say was “dreamed up and written by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff,” for readers to know they are about to enter a world of irreverent humor where nothing is sacred and there will be tons of fun and laughs along the way.

So, leave your inhibitions at the door, check your blush and get ready for COLEL, mistress of the bees and a 70,000 year-old goddess looking for love. Has she finally found the man of her dreams? How can she and her bees convince the

I've loved this authors outrageous stories which tend to star her swaggering uber macho Immortal males so it made a change to have the Goddess Colel taking centre stage. I do have empathy for her as she's quite isolated in many ways and its really only her personal hive of Bees that ever really get close to her. Things are changing in the Immortal world and its even more important than ever to find your Mate so Colel is beside herself when she stumbles across a florist that could be hers ! Oh wa ...more

This was cute and silly. I found myself laughing quite a bit at Colel and the situations she kept getting herself into. I really liked her but she is VERY eccentric. A little bit of a warning, this has one of the craziest storylines I have read lately.

There are multiple side characters that all have a part and did raise the entertaining to a new level. I have not read the previous books in the series but I didn't feel lost where Colel was concerned. There was a second couple that seem to be in

Oh my flippin' Gods!! This book! Mimi has done it again taken us on a wild ride, between Colel and her crazy ninja assassin bees and Minky. Woooo this book is crazy good, emphasis on the crazy.

Colel has been the Mistress of the Bees since her creation 70-ish thousand years ago and after all that time she's lonely but looking for love when you wear a beehive for a hat isn't easy especially when your bees are very protective. Rys is the one human who has ever sparked a lustful emotion

When I started reading Colel I knew that a) it’s a Mimi Jean Pamfiloff book, with all the craziness that entails, and b) it’s part of the Immortal Matchmakers series, so it was going to be one heck of a zany time. What I can say *after* reading it is: hold on tight for a wild and comical journey unlike any other.

You know when an author puts a “warning” about the language and sexy content of the book at the beginning of it–and in the book’s synopsis–that

Wow, what a fun read. I love Mimi’s books but I’m ashamed to say this was my first look into this series and I can see I’ve been missing a ton of fun and I have quite a bit to catch up with. On saying that, this book was easily read as a stand alone and I didn’t find my self confused in any way when well known characters were mentioned or added to the plot.
This Immortals story was phenomenal and Colel, the Mistress of the Bee’s role in this tale was hilarious at times and the wild ride that prog

How do I describe this book, and series? Well it's a mash-up of paranormal, zombie apocalypse (without the zombies but with rabid immortals instead) and rom-com.
So a very run-of-the-mill book, not😉

The Immortal Matchmakers books can be read stand-alone, though there is also a story arch that runs throughout the series. Having read only two of the five books (this and book #4), I can tell you from personal experience that you quickly pick up the threads that run throughout them all, plus there

OMG I loved this one! Bees have a special place in my heart and have been facing a lot of struggles lately so I've been looking forward to Colel, Goddess of Bees story.

Colel is in the tiny town of Crested Butte Colorado, checking the local hives and trying to help her tiny subjects when she happens across handsome florist Rys. She is instantly attracted to him the only problem: Rys is severely, deathly allergic to her beloved bees AND seems to hate her with a passion! Not to bee deterred, Colel

Sticky train wreck that will have you laughing out loud till the end

Colel is that clueless awkward girl in all of us crushing on her first hardcore love with no idea how to turn those feelings into approaching and winning the man she has set her sight on. She also happens to be a drop-dead gorgeous Goddess but to me is the most identifiable of the crazy bunch because her cringy moments rival many of our own.

Another bonus in this IMM book is that we get fun Easter Eggs from other series and loos

The insane and temperamental Immortal Gods are back and I so missed them. This story is about arguably the most quirky God, or Mistress as she prefers. Colel is the Mistress of Bees, and she's on a very timely mission: to discover why bees are disappearing from their habitats. This mission 's success could very well help to stop deadly climate change.

The warning that Pamfiloff writes in the beginning with us readers that she is the Queen of Humorous Paranormal Romance (that is a thing).

True to this author’s previous works, Colel will have you laughing out loud during this entertaining paranormal romantic comedy. Members of the immortal community are threatened by a plague and it is imperative that they each find their mates to avoid “flipping”. Colel, the goddess/mistress of bees is on a mission to find out why the bees are dying off and finds herself in a small town in Colorado. Armed with a traveling hive of bees, she encounters the flower shop owner, Rys and thus begins a h ...more

What’s the Buzzzz ?

Oh that’s just Chuck and his psycho friends demanding honey.

Colel isn’t your average goddess. As Mistress of Bees she speaks fluent bee, and is responsible for the health of bee hives world wide. She also comes with her own personal immortal army of psychotic bees that live in her hat. It doesn’t help that the little jerks are the jealous type and don't want anyone near their girl. No wonder why no one ever gets close enough to her to make a love connection. Unfortunately she

So, I haven't read the other books in the series and I possibly should have? There appears to be a thread of a storyline that goes through all the books, as well as the fact that this is a spin-off series from the Accidentally Yours Series. Hey-ho! All that said, I still enjoyed this story as a standalone.

"Their souls had to become one, and for that to happen, he had to give her his heart. They would never get there if they couldn't be in the same room."

OMG laugh out loud funniest book that this Mad Genius I call Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has done yet. She has weaved Colel's story so perfectly and the jaw dropping moments that she left where just that jaw dropping.

Colel is the Mistress of Bees and has been looking for her love for years. Ok maybe a few thousand years to be exact but whatever. After seeing how her siblings have come so far with their own HEA, she wanted one of her own and especially since the good guys are turning or "flipping" evil

It has been ages since we have had the pleasure of reading the wonderful wacky works of this series. The author has brought her brilliant wit and comedy to yet another book and it does not disappoint.

Colel, Mistress of Bee's is a Goddess with a 70,000 year old problem, she is still a virgin and has finally found someone who has taken her fancy, however he does not seem pleased to see her.

Another hilariously entertaining paranormal Rom-Com by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. We start Colel's story in Crested Butte, Colorado. Colel is the Goddess of bees and her hive of assassin bees and Rys is a sexy flower shop owner who is highly allergic to bees, like deadly allergic. She is immediately smitten and will do anything to get his attention. He wants nothing to do with her. Colel is so clueless on everything dating or love, yet she still tries to reel him in. He continues to rebuff her.

This book leads us in many circles, mostly around Colel, Mistress of Bees. During a trip to Colorado to check on the bee population, she meets the man she believes is her mate. Of course, he doesn’t like her and is allergic to bees, and his brother died from a bee sting. Determined to win him over, she involves two of her brothers. As usual, nothing goes right, she dies and has to return many times, and oddly, Brutus starts showing signs that he is in love with her. We know this can’t be right. ...more

Oh Colel, you are too funny!!! I loved Colel's story. Colel is lonely and gets that tingly feeling when she meets a man, so she gets excited that he might be her mate. However, things do not go as planned. First of all, he's a big grumpy face, second, her bee's hate him, and third, he's allergic to bee's. So what's a girl to do? Obviously, talk very inappropriately, stalk him, and get killed a few times.
To top it off, Brutus is acting all kinds of strange. He's creeping Colel out with how differ

Her Allergic Mate

I think I laugh more when reading a Mimi Jean Pamfiloff book than with almost any other author. This Immortal Matchmakers series has just been fun since the first book. How can you go wrong with things like; a swarm of honeybees with a leader named Chuck, an invisible evil unicorn, a ghost, and a horny 70,000 year old virgin goddess in search of her mate to name a few?

Colel knew from the moment she saw Rys that he may be her mate. Not only does he rebuff her immediately but it

Well fate must be laughing at Colel because she is sure she has found her mate at last but he appears to be allergic to bees which is not at all helpful when you are the Goddess of Bees, but on the upside Rys owns a Florist Shop which should at least give them something in common. Now all Colel needs to do is convince him that they should give their attraction to each other a chance and to stop telling her to go away. The advice from the other Gods has not been all the helpful except for Zac who ...more

3.5 stars.

Colel is the next in Mimi’s Humorous Paranormal Romance (TM). Colel is an immortal goddess, the Mistress of bees. And she just happens to meet who she suspects is her fated mate. Just one teeny tiny problem.

Anaphylaxis to bee stings.

What ensues is typical OTT situations, full of humor and inappropriate jokes, witty dialogue, and sexual tension. Plenty of the side characters from the previous novels make an appearance in this “omg what else can happen next” plot.

Honestly it was typical

I just love this series and the addition of Colel only strengthens that thought! The Goddess of Bees was one roller coaster ride of a read that I could not get enough of. Her story was funny and full of plot twists that had me sorry when I had to put the book down for real life. I loved the return of the other gods into the mayhem of Colel's and Rys' story I also loved catching up with Zac and Tula for the craziness of what is happening with them. Mimi Jean’s stories are always entertaining and Colel is no exception!
I admit that I had no idea how Mimi was going to pull this one all together. Rys can’t seem to stand bees and they’re the whole purpose of Colel’s existence. Never mind the fact that Rys seems to hate her! Oh yeah, and the bees don’t like anyone who would take Colel’s attention away from them.
It’s just all a disaster! But Colel soldiers on and with Mimi’s excellent writing, she might just get her happy ending.

Loved it! I'm so happy Bees got her own book cuz I didn't much care for her in the accidental series but this book gave me a better appreciation for her and her mannerisms. She's not trying to be rude, she just didn't get much practice socializing with her overprotective hive.
And Rys? I could not believe the actual back story that he came with! Never would've guessed in a million years! I love that even though I've read almost all of Mimi's books, she still keeps me guessing with these original

I am still trying to process how I read a book about a lady covered in bees 24/7 and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! Seriously this book is UnBEElievable! I swear I would just like to occupy just a sliver of Pamiloffs mind while shes brainstorming ideas. It's a true testament to her skill as a writer to be able to take a wild idea and turn it into un unforgettable, amazing read. Mistress of Bees, Colel, is desperate to find her mate. Turns out he's a florist and allergic to bees. She comes up with crazy ideas to make their love work, without Cimil's help. This isn't just a story for Colel, but her brethren as well. Zac needs help with Tula, Cimil is still in her prison and the supernatural are still flipping. It's eccentric, silly and fantastic. Highly recommended to read the series to know the characters better. I received an early copy, review written voluntarily.

Could this book BEE any more fun!?! Not really. Colel is a down to earth Goddess. Erm.. Mistress. Mistress of bees. She’s a good sister to her crazy immortal siblings (even Cimil), a nice Goddess, a caring and ecologically friendly deity. And her headgear leaves fashionistas buzzing. Now to figure out how to win her mate and keep her tiny black and yellow army from killing him (Epipen? Who has an Epipen handy?)
