The book was published in 1997, one year after I graduated from college (Bachelor of Arts major in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas). Sixteen years after its publication, I was lucky to have read this book, because it refreshed my memory on the life and works of the Philippines National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. I started reading this book early this morning (7:00 am) and finished it after ten hours (5:00 pm), which proves that I enjoyed reading it. Thank you to Miss Filomena V. Rivera (the Author) for a job well done. Good work Ma'am.
