It may just be me since the majority of readers seem to absolutely love this story, but I really couldn't connect with the characters here. I also felt that the story dragged and I found myself skimming through parts of it and it still took me 4 days to get through it. Even the SDSG chat couldn't help me with that. There was a lot of secrecy involving Everett and Caleb's relationship and it turned out that the reason was nothing all that big and it was almost the same for me with the build-up to ...more

4.5 stars!!!

I love this the best out of all the books in this series. Admittedly, I love the main series this one spawns off from. And the series so far hasn’t wowed me or even come close to the calibre of the main series. But this!! This was the saving grace!!! I loved it!! So much!! 😍

The witter, the banter, the humour and the babies!! They all come together and mesh into this lovely, lovely story. And to think I wasn’t too enthusiastic about reading it. The curse of the terrible blurb once aga

All reviews are voluntary and my honest opinion.

Two dominant Alphas in need of a third to balance them. One omega on the run from an abusive ex.

The triad develops pretty quickly, but some of that is standard fair for A/B/O. Caleb and Everett are well matched, it's nice to see them compromise together, and fight to respect Jayne's bodily autonomy during his heat.

The beginning was a little sluggish for me, despite Piper Scott's advanced world building. I think

I liked this book a lot. It was a cute three-way relationship of equals. And the bottom/omega was clearly the one in charge of everyone, which I loved. My one complaint is that it isn’t really a stand alone book. I mean, I was never completely lost, but there were several times where I was like…what the heck is going on? I skipped most of book two and all of book three and four, so that is on me. And to be fair, the summary doesn’t claim to be stand-alone. But it was so close to being that! Wi ...more

I really enjoyed this one of the SDSG. Jayne, Caleb and Everett are so perfectly matched for each other. But I can't wait for Knot's book. Unfortunately it will be the last of the series but she saved the best for last. Can not wait!!!!

Ugh, I hated it. I like ménage relationships but I don’t love them. I always feel like someone is left out and I have yet too see where it’s equal. I don’t even know why Caleb was part of the book because it seemed like the Jayne and Everett show. It just annoyed me a lot to see that they were obviously closer and made the read not fun. Another reason, I was so flipping bored I wanted to cry, there was a lot of times when I had to power through and not DNF like I so baldly wanted to. Again I ski ...more

I love this story so much and it's even better in audio. After meeting Jayne in the previous book, I definitely wanted his story, and I love that he got his HEA with Everrett and Caleb. This was a truly well written MMM relationship, and even though two of the people involved were already in a relationship, it never felt off balanced. I loved seeing familiar faces from past books and past series, this is probably best enjoyed if you've read all the previous SDSG books as will as the His Command ...more

I loved this book! It did take me a while to get through it because it had a little more angst than I thought. But Jayne and Caleb and Everett were all amazing and Shep was fun too! The love story was sweet and hot and as an MMM I didn't feel like anyone was the odd man out of the threesome.

I am glad that Jayne didn't turn out to be a bad guy in Mal's book and ended up being a fantastic character. Although I am going to be sad when the series is over, I can't wait for Knot's book!

Such a wonderful addition to the Single Dad Support Group series! I knew there had to be so much more to Jayne than we saw before, and we finally get to know him under all the glitter and sass (which are pretty epic on their own in Jayne's case, tbh). My heart broke for him and Parker and everything his psycho ex put them through. But as much as I loved Jayne in this book, it was Everett and Caleb who completely stole my heart. Best friends and lovers, there is one significant reason they have n ...more

Caleb and Everett meet Jayne in a club. The established couple are there for Jayne when he needs their help.
I loved the way they all came together. Allowing Jayne to go at his own pace. The first time they came together was smokin hot!!
There are plenty of feels between them all. The love and support amongst them tangible.
It was great watching them grow into their relationship as they begin to trust in each other and that they all have together.
I enjoyed seeing the other single dads too. I reall

It pained me to give this book a lower rating compares to the previous books in the series.
The story was actually focus on Jayne. while Gabe and Everett in a cusp of their wobble relationship, finding Jayne was like a fresh new start (?). But I was a bit questioning the decision between Everett and Gabe to add someone in the middle. Bored (?).
I just hope their relationship doesn't really that fragile. It was only two years, and they need another?

This is my favorite of the series so far -- smoking hot smexy times, adorable babies, tough alphas turning into mush for their sassy omega, families coming together. Did I mention the steamy hot threesomes? And besides all that, it was LOL funny at the most inappropriate of times. Yes, I want Knot to finally get his own HEA and I can't wait to see what insanity that looks like, but I'm not sure how it's going to beat this one. ...more
Independent reviewer for Gay Romance Reviews, I was gifted the audio version of this book.

This is book 5 in the Single Dad Support Group series, and while it's not totally necessary for you to have read books one through four before this one, I would recommend you do. There is much referenced here that happens in the previous books and it would give you a much better picture of this group of men and how they support each other. And also, I said so!

Loving Jayne, Caleb AND Everett (an audio review)

I adored Jayne in the last Single Dad Support Group book. Snarky, defiant, glitter-obsessed. But those things hid a dark past and when Harlow suggested he join the online support group, Jayne, with a five-month-old, decided to reach out. Glitter Doctor’s arrival in the group caused quite a stir. Glit as he quickly became known, fit right in. And thus the group expanded. When his younger brother Simon moved to LA to be with Harlow, Jayne found hims

This book description intrigued me, I always love an mmm storyline and while not new to piper Scott's writing this is in fact the first book I've read from the single dad's series. I know shock horror, and book 5 to start off the series aswell😀, so this review is coming from someone with no knowledge of past characters or in-house jokes.

The Promise is the fifth book in Piper Scott's Single Dad Support Group series. As usual, we get to visit with the former characters as well as getting a great new romance.

I love this series; everything about it. It's filled with humor as well as heart. It's full of complications and a whole lot of amazing couple with great children.

Poor Jayne is suffering from the abuse his ex bestowed on him. His ex was manipulative and controlling, and Jayne can't get stop looking over his shoulder in fear. H

This is the fifth book in the Single Dad Support Group and it is fantastic. I love MMM books and when I discovered that's what this book was going to be I was so excited.

I called Caleb and Everett's relationship in The Solution. Seeing how much they love each other and how badly they want their relationship to work, even though they know that what they have might not be enough that doesn't mean they're not going to try.

Jayne's been hurt. Badly. The only thing he has to keep him going is his fa

Fabulous, Love & Glitter!

This installment of a Single Dads Support Group series is amazing! A bit longer than the previous books, which is always good for me. As always one of my favorite things is the rapport and dialogue-often hilarious-between the SDSG members, but there are many other great things about this book of course.

I was so glad to finally get Jayne’s full story! We got hints previously so I had anticipated a bit of the scenario but it was awesome to finally KNOW. And having all the
The Promise is the fifth book in the Single Dad Support Group series, a contemporary, omegaverse romance. The book does feature a poly relationship (m/m/m) so if that is not your cup of tea then move on. I absolutely love this series and was incredibly excited for this next installment.

This book deals with some heavy issues revolving around an obsessive and dangerous ex-boyfriend turned stalker, and the trauma and healing that comes from escaping an abusive relationship. Each of the three men in

I loved this book. This is my favorite so far! I'm sure I say that with each new book in the series, but that means they just keep getting better. I love Jayne, Caleb and Everett. These three guys are wonderful. Jayne is as sassy and snarky as he was in the last book, but this time we also get to see who he is under his shell and behind his walls. He has been hurt, but still open to new experiences and new people. He hold so much inside, that it is great to see him let himself be free with

This fifth book in the Single Dad's Support Group by Piper Scott has been long awaited by those of us who are fans and members of her author group on Facebook since she has been teasing us with some tantalising excerpts for the last few months. I highly recommend that you will get the most out of this series if you read them in order as there are more than a few in jokes by this group of single dads.

So I don't normally read throuple books. It's not normally for me. But I'm already invested in this series so I gave it a shot. I liked it way more than I thought I would. It's probably because this healthy of a relationship is pure fantasy, poly relationships can work but the one in this book was so....easy. They barely had to work for it. Everything internal to the relationship worked out perfectly. There was no internal strife. All the strife came from an external force - will the families ac ...more

Being a fan of the Single Dads Support Group I was definitely looking forward to GlitterDoctor’s story. Piper Scott definitely didn’t disappoint with The Promise.

Jayne originally meets Caleb and Everett in a club. We’ve met Jayne before in a few places - and Caleb and Everett also link in with some of the Single Dads. Jayne has 6 month old Parker, and is also looking after his teenage brother Shep. There’s trouble in his life and despite trying he’s not been able to get himself out of it.

I truly enjoyed reading the fascinating & intriguing MMM romance. I found the plot interesting, well-thought out & written. The unique characters have individual personalities with attributes of determination when faced with certain situations.
There is: a sassy omega single dad on the run from an abusive ex (Jayne) his 6mth old son (Parker), his teenage brother (Shep) the two domineering alphas that become involved in his life (Caleb & Everett), the devious abusive ex (Bastian), twists & turns,

This is another excellent book in the Single Dad Support Group series and I loved everything about it. I don't read many MMM stories except when they are part of a series that I love but this is definitely one of my favorites as the relationship between Jayne, Caleb and Everett is so well done. Suspenseful story and a triad romance!

The Single Dad Support Group is an amazing series. I have loved every one of the books and Michael Ferraiuolo’s fantastic performances shouldn’t be missed by anyone who is a fan of the series. I think you’ll probably enjoy this series best if you read the books in order.
