Sins, bad decisions, and the ultimate pent up anger of lust that will have you fighting for more, Monica James knows how to balance the cruelty and passion in one...

There is a lot that can be said about an author who truly knows how to write a proper dark romance. At one point in my life I was craving all the dark romances that I could find thanks to the gruesome yet addicting novels by Penelope Douglas that never seem to disappoint. That being said, Monica is an author that has surprised me i

Whoa. What a dark and bumpy roller-coaster ride! It started off pretty innocuous and just builds from there until you are sitting at the edge of your seat to see what happens. Willow is put through the wringer and is still standing at the end of this first portion. Saint is an anti hero that you love to hate that you love...and I can't wait for more of this story!!

Bad Saint: All the Pretty Things Trilogy is the first book in this trilogy.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and the day it was delivered to my Kindle is the day I started reading it!

Willow has not had it easy in life.  So, when she is kidnapped on her honeymoon she doesn’t make it easy for her kidnapper, Saint.   She is a fighter and refuses to be a victim.  Willow doesn’t make it easy for Saint.  Saint is

Bad Saint by Monica James is a dark romance stuffed with sins, lies, secrets, torture, death, anticipation, defiance and an unending passion lying in its wake. I didn't expect myself to fall in love with the story as much as I do right now. It is everything that makes a perfect dark palette. Willow, a woman living in her fantasy world is soon introduced to the lies that is her life. Married to love of her life and on a honeymoon, things take a turn when she finds herself kidnapped by

Bad Saint tells the story of Willow, a newly wed who is kidnapped while on her honeymoon. One of her captors, Saint, runs hot and cold in a tantalizing game. Willow forms an unlikely bond with Saint and they end up stranded on an island, relying on each other for survival. This is a dark romance where I was rooting for the bad guy.
The story moves pretty quicky, definitely delivers some steamy scenes. I really enjoyed reading this a

Willow had a tough upbringing, but she’s met and married the man of her dreams. They are just beginning their honeymoon when the unthinkable happens. She is kidnapped. In comes Saint, one of her captors. She shouldn’t be attracted to him, and she shouldn’t feel the way she feels when he punishes her, but sometimes feelings don’t make sense. Saint was your typical guy, until his life got tangled up with that of a Russian mobster. He shouldn’t think about Willow as anymore than a job, but as the t ...more

I am shook, rekt and flabbergasted! I am sitting on pins and needles at the edge of my seat crying like I lost my dang-tooting mind!! I am feeling a mess of emotions (disgust, hate, love, relieved, hopeful, uncomfortable, worried and proud among others)! Bad Saint encompassed unfathomable, real emotional situations. I felt as if I was right there with them along for the ride. Bad Saint is deep, tortuous, provocative, sexually frustrating, angsty, dramatic and full of lies and subterfuge.

Bad Saint will take you on an emotional ride. Strap in, and pray you will make it through in one piece.

I am not sure that I did.

The journey that Willow takes is harsh, painful, and yet she never breaks. Willow vowed when she was young that she would never let anything break her. While fighting for her life, dignity, and freedom she is instantly drawn to Saint. The man who at times is the Devil personified, yet at other times is as Saintly as his name. Who is the real Saint and why is this happe

Holy-Hot Biscuits Y’all, Just one look at this cover and you know you are in for something off the charts amazing, and boy did it deliver! Willow was such an amazing strong character, everything she had been through in her life had unknowingly made her strong enough to endure what she would go through at the hands of these kidnappers that took her on her honeymoon. However, she’s a vicious dog when she needs to be. That girl though! She is willing to risk herself for anyone or anyt

I fucking loved this book!

I was pulled and torn in so many different directions it was like I had been through a tumble cycle!

Saint is such an will capitulate between hating him and cheering him on!

This book was everything I was not expecting, in the sweetest of ways, it’s dark, suspenseful, slow-burning and sexy as hell. The chemistry between Saint and willow still have me thinking about them long after I closed the pages. Saint is the perfect anti- hero and I probably developed Stockholm syndrome. But I’m not complaining. And Zillow is the strongest heroine I’ve read to date. 5 stars cause Bad Saint had everything I was looking f

Holy shit...
Monica James is an outstanding author, she's always been able to suck me into a plot and keep my attention on it all the way through, and this book was no exception. It was a little different for her, but a good different. She has gone above and beyond with this dark and steamy romance. Anyone that knows me well enough, knows that I am OBSESSED with dark romances, the darker and twisted the better, in my opinion. I love it when an author who writes a book that can have your mind on o

What a story! I started it on pins and needles and ended feeling sick to my stomach and the emotions in between didn’t fair any better for me! An absolute masterpiece of a story that had me riveted from the beginning, not only did it take us a journey of despair and survival it showed me than even the hardest of hearts can break for the right person and other people’s lives are only ever what there willing to share with you, there rhyme and reason for there actions and never always what they see ...more

This book is a lot more then I was expecting. There is always a sense of being sucked into a world that consumes you while reading one of Monica’s books. She adds so many layers to her stories that there is always something going on.

This is the first book in the trilogy, the introduction if you like to stormy turbulent seas.

Three men stole her away ruining her hopes, and dreams of a new, better life.

Her future of love and happiness is replaced with fear, uncertainty and hate.

A thousand questions storm her brain as plans formulate in her desperate mind.

She was different than what he expected. Stronger, more resilient and a warrior but in the end he would win. There was no other option.

Bad Saint is a beginning of great trilogy filled with betrayal, forbidden needs, survival but the most important battle between love and family.

Willow, after painful past, fought so hard for her future, for a better life, for love and her own safe haven. When she thought she finally got her happy ending she was sold and betrayed in the worst way possible. But she didn’t give up, she fought with her captors with claws and attitude. This story BLEW MY MIND. It was dark, it was twisted, it was steamy, it was full of hope. I was completely hooked from the very first word.
Willow is a fighter, she is a survivor and she is one badass female. Saint, oh Saint, I truly hated to love him so much. He is a man just trying to survive. He is just doing his job and Willow is the means to an end for him. She is the light at the end of his tunnel. Unfortunately, that tunnel was follow of a lot of detours and struggles. Bad Saint by Monica James is the first installment her the All The Pretty Things Trilogy.
Bad Saint is a dark read, twisted, deals with sensitive subjects and is certainly not for the faint of heart.
Meet Willow Shaw. She's a young woman with a rough past, but now it seems fate smiles at her, not. She goes from bad to worse without knowing what happens to her and why.
She becomes the abused pawn in a bigger plan and her only saving grace seems to be her abductor.

Taken by three masked men, on the way to be sold in Russia but not everything is as it seems.
