I love when a series ends on a high note and that’s exactly what author Erika Kelly delivered in The Reluctant Boyfriend, a perfect ending to what has been an outstanding series.

Finding her fiancé and her personal assistant in a compromising position, Princess Rosalina Anais Isabella Villeneuve (aka Rosie) head to Calamity, Wyoming for a wedding dress fitting but what she finds is wide open spaces, a flower that her perfumer soul wants, and a man who intrigues her like no other. But duty calls

Less than perfect has never hurt so good. The wait is over, but the fun has just begun. With The Bad Boyfriend series, Kelly doesn't shy away from charming. She captivates with delectable characters that wrap themselves around a heart. The Bodie Brothers are clueless when it comes to romance, but all in when it comes to falling in love. From the first hello to the final goodbye, Rosalind and Brodie are a match made out of the unpredictable, but the sweetest kind of heaven. The Reluctant Boyfrien ...more

This book was amazing!
It is the first book I’ve read by this author but it is part of series, which I’ve started reading from the beginning. You can read this as standalone too!

It took me a moment to really connect with the character but within the first 2 chapter, I found myself so deeply invested. The more I read the more I swooned.

The author wrote an amazing male lead. He wasn’t one to settle down, or want marriage, kids, or love for that matter, he didn’t want to like his family, he loved

This is the first book I've read by Erika Kelly's and the first in this series. It can absoloutely be read as a standalone.

Rosie and Brodie's story had me hooked straight away. It flowed well and I definitely was able to keep up despite it being book 4 in the series.

I'm going to go back to book 1 and read the first 3 because this one was so damn good

It’s FINALLY Brodie’s turn! I’ve been all in with the Bowie brothers since Fin stole my heart in The World’s Worst Boyfriend. Since then, I’ve eagerly waited on each brother’s book and though he’s last, Brodie is in no way least.

The Reluctant Boyfriend brings readers to Brodie Bowie’s door. Brodie has always been the steady brother, the only one that didn’t have to be lured back to Calamity, Wyoming. Robbed of his chance to compete in the Olympics after a career-ending injury, Brodie ne

Princess Rosalina, aka 'Rosie' is more than just her title, she has a deep desire to do more than be the dutiful daughter and do something with her raw talent. When Rosie meets Brodie after she finds out her fiancé is cheating on her, she just wants to check off a list of experiences before she decides her future.

I loved both Rosie and Brodie, they made quite the pair. They have two very different personalities that just mesh so well. This story had a great mix of sweet and sexy.

I was gifted a copy for an honest review.

I have really enjoyed all the books in this series and this one was just as enjoyable. This reads as a stand-alone.

I wasn’t sure when I started reading with Rosie being a princess but I need not have worried as Rosie settled in to Calamity fine. Brodie was as broody as ever but it was nice to see him suddenly realise that he had found what his brothers had and that the bachelor life for him was over.

There was mild angst but you knew you were going to get

I loved Bowie and Rosie’s story! This was the last Bowie brother’s book and it did not disappoint. THE RELUCTANT BOYFRIEND is the fourth book in Erika Kelly’s Bad Boyfriend Series. Each book in the series features a Bowie brother and can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading them in or

I absolutely fell in love with this couple. They were real and somewhat emotionally fragile. Brodie had some major trust issues that stemmed from his mother. Rosie, aka "the princess" - - yes, she really was a princess - - was dedicated to her responsibilities almost to a fault. Going into their romantic interlude, they knew it couldn't be anything more than temporary...but their hearts definitely didn't get the "memo."

Erika Kelly is another new to me author, and boy do I regret coming late to the Bad Boyfriend party! I mean, I was missing out for real! See it's like this, Princess Rosalina has to get married & produce an heir for her country, but when she catches her fiance cheating with her assistant, she's done doing what's expected of her. That leads her into landing 5000 miles away in Montana, with hot cowboys all over the place, so she decides to go on the down low, and act out all of her fantasies that ...more

The Reluctant Boyfriend is Brodie and Rosie's book. Brodie is yet another athletic wonderboy of the Brodie Clan. He is a wonderful, but somewhat oblivious hero. He's suffered some manipulation from his mother and is a bit closed off. Rosie is royalty, but her passion is chemistry, more specifically making perfume. She is so loyal and loving, but has recently been betrayed, so she has decided to regroup. These two have an interesting first meeting, I loved the banter and the barter for flowers! S ...more

I thought this book was good, definitely not as good as the previous books I've read in this series. I thought Rosie was a bit childish in the beginning of the book, but as you read more she grows into a more confident, determined woman. Brodie on the other hand was a great character. I wish they touched more on his past and his feelings about it because I felt like that was just a fleeting thought. I wish the other Bowie brothers and their significant others played a large

*I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I liked Rosie and Brodie. The push and pull of their relationship was done really well. Rosie's life was so structured and she was wracked with guilt over doing something teenagers do and that made her into the dutiful daughter. But after she finds her fiance in a closet with another woman, she flees to Calamity which was the best thing for her. She found her place and the man who could value

The fourth, standalone book in Erika Kelly’s Bad Boyfriend series is a fun, feel-good royal romance that will have you laughing, smiling and swooning. I’ve loved all of the Bowie brothers, but Brodie might be my favorite. He’s a little cynical about love — until he falls hard and fast for Princess Rosalina.

This is one of those books that you have been dying to read but then you know its the ending of an incredible series. I have to fall in love with every single Bowie brother and their other halves. This author really knows how to make you feel like a part of the family.
I was surprised to find Brodie the most playboy of the brothers falling for a princess, she sort felt out of place for a lot of the book. These brothers are hardcore athletes from the midwest and to throw in this princess it was a

Commitment. Perseverance. Assertiveness.

“Okay, back at it. The moment he accelerated, the engine roared, and a woman came dashing out in front of him, waving her arms hysterically.
Oh, fuck. He jammed on the brakes. Shifted into park and killed the engine. Grabbing the bar, he swung out and landed on the soft earth. “What’d I hit?” He crouched at the front of the machine, looking for a body. A nest. Anything. “What?”

She catches Marcel, her fiancé , and her assistant in a compromising position. She decides to go to Calamity to get away. There she meets Brodie. I loved the idea of a modern day romance between a princess and a commoner and The Reluctant Boyfriend, a sweet and steamy romance, delivered! This Standalone is the fourth book in the Bad Boyfriends series and features Brodie, a perpetual bachelor with deep seated trust issues. His love interest is a fugitive Princess, Rosalina, from a fictional monarchy, who’s torn between family and love. The story is so well written and made me feel deeply for Rosie, who was facing a dilemma kno

The Reluctant Boyfriend is the 4rth but not final (I think) book in the Bad Boyfriend series by Erika Kelly. The main characters are Brodie with whom you are probably familiar with since he appeared in the previous books and Princess Rosalina who cannot be a queen without a husband due to some very old laws. That's the reason why she goes through half of the things she did in this book.

What bugged me the most about the book was Vanessa's presence. She is the woman was casual with for the past 4(

A story with all the right notes

Book 4 in the Bad Boyfriend series, you can easily read this as a standalone. Like most series of this type, characters from the previous books do carryover, however, and as usual, I feel that having read the earlier books would add to the experience here.

I’ve been loving this series so it’s another case where I picked it up without bothering to read the blurb. I was pretty surprised to find Brodie’s lady was an actual princess, as well as a perfumer and a chemist

So when I started reading The Reluctant Boyfriend I realized there were other Bowie family members I needed to know about. Not to worry, all I had to do was keep reading and Erika Kelly did a great job of filling me in on what I needed to know about the other brothers. But, by the end of this story, I was definitely ready to go back and read their full stories. BTW, this is book 4 of this series.

I'm enjoying this series and the setting. Each brother as unique as the other. The stories so different.
Brodie's heroine was unexpected but it was good fit for him. Rosie was royalty and didn't quite fit in with Calamity. But she turned out to have so many layers. She was stunningly beautiful on the surface but underneath she had curiosity, wisdom and awkwardness, science geek about her and brilliant minf. I liked that.

I could relate with how Brodie misses his dad and his feelings. He also haf

This was a really sweet and highly enjoyable romance and one that wrapped up this great series rather nicely. Each brother's love story is different, and Brodie's has a royal twist to it. I was quite happy that there wasn't any sort of secret being kept about who Rosalina really was because that's something that's been done time and again. I loved how independent-minded Rosie was, how she had dreams of her own. The fact that she was
