Poorly written, superficial book that adds insult to injury by using a lot of space shilling for other books written by these authors. Will only be useful to someone with almost no knowledge of investments.

All the investing basics for Canadians: Stocks, ETFs, Real Estate, and Business Ownership. The authors' advice definitely errs on the side of conservative caution, but at least you can't go wrong following such principles. A good primer for the uninformed thirsty for basic investing knowledge.

Good overall book. The version I read was a little outdated but I learned a bit on the stock market.

Very easy to read and understand. The thrust is on conservative investing. Even if you're not wanting to invest in the market this is a good book to read to understand the business news.
