I actually listened to this as part of the audio version of "Maps in a Mirror". It is a bit soul touching for me since I grew up in what was essentially a Polish American community. I had never really thought about Elephants much until this story, I hadn't realized how intelligent they are. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at them the same way again.

I've enjoyed other Orson Scott Card novels, but didn't connect with these short stories. In fact I didn't finish the first one. It was OK, but there were more interesting options available for the drive from OR.
